  1. I wouldnt take Shearer either. Not that I hate him or what,I got a lot of respect for him and Im sure you do as well but just because he is a great player doesnt mean he is a great manager.Furthermore,he has no experience as a football manager at all. However,we could obviously take a risk on him just like what Sunderland did when they hired Keane.Nevertheless,I think we shouldnt rush in appointing him as a manager.Let him work his way up. If Shearer says he wants it, the job will be his. That is guaranteed. Shepherd is desperate to sit next to Shearer at a press conference and announce that he's given the Geordie people what they all want - a Geordie manager. And 20,000 mongs will turn up at St. James to welcome him back. The rest of us will be at work, rueing yet another ridiculous decision by the idiot in charge of the club. Have had one too many already, and the prime reason I don't want GR sacked is that I'm hoping we won't have to endure anymore of those. I would actually welcome Shearer as manager, only under a different board and chairman to the clowns and imbecile in charge now.
  2. Personally, I'm convinced. Roeder needs to go. But I would rather have him stay if Freddie Shepherd is staying as well. I have lost all kind of trust in the chairman, so I wouldn't want him making any more managerial appointments thank you very much. The club is stale, and needs new blood. This chairman had taken us as far as he could (about 4 yrs ago), and should have gone with SBR. He seems to conveniently forget that this is a football club first and foremost, and then a business. Without the football, there is NO business, and he's got that equation completely wrong. So basically, Roeder should only be sacked if some sort of takeover is on the cards, and the principal fuck-up that is Shepherd is on his bike.
  3. The legends, and the so-called newcastle fans who are already getting on his back are part of the cancer that is spreading through the club and everything connected to it. Fuck off please and support Chelsea, if you think you've made up your mind on Martins, or any other "new foreigner" for that matter, and that includes Luque. We've seen nowhere near enough of him under normal circumstances. He's never had a run in the team, and has never been given a fair chance in a team with a gameplan, with him included in it. Some people REALLY need to grow up
  4. Well I've just seen the 4-0 Man City win over Brum, and wor Antoine was involved in 3 goals, scoring 1 and setting up two. Those knock-downs are probably the reason he's been bought! (in a panicky last minute sort of way of course!!). Again, not trying to justify the signing, but come on fellas! He hasn't done anything wrong to us, so let's try and be positive about him for a change, and let's not expect too much! It's no use bitching and moaning, we've got to take it and move on. I just hope there's a take-over before we are over-taken from the bottom up. Shepherd out! tongue.gif (no really....i mean that)
  5. And yes Andy Goram it was. He was a legend up there, I know! But he played one fucking game! That one game could be enough for anyone. Look, i'm gutted at how shit our window has been. But what the ****? I support the club, and not the signings! As long as we don't go straight down, then I'm willing to turn a blind eye and look forward to a big fat takeover to get us rid of the incompetent Shepherd and Hall.
  6. I agree about Shepherd, completely! I want him out as well. But the fans never do a thing about it. They talk about doing, but never get round to do squat. And booboo...I'm NOT happy about the signing. But i'm not about to hold my breath till i'm blue in the face, or slit my bollocks off just because we signed Sibierski. What's the fucking use? At least we have experienced cover when we need it!!
  7. Fucking relax lads!! I'm not going to get into a debate about how good or shite Sibierski is. We all know (including Roeder) that he's not up there with the best to say the least. He could be a player to come in and mix it up a little, adding some experience and professionalism to the squad of players. He could be Zoggy's mentor, in that he's French, and could show him what professionals are like. If he comes in, tries his arse off, and we benefit from his signing in any way, shape or form, then it wouldn't have been a bad thing. I'm sure he hasn't been signed to be in GR's first team plans. We know the kind of player GR wants to sign in Duff and Martins, and to be honest, I'm surprised we got them as they are both very very high calibre players. Don't forget, Duff only went to Chelsea a short while ago for 17 mill!! Martins was Inter's best and most exciting player recently. All i'm saying is that fuck it! he's here! Yes I'm greatly disappointed it wasn't someone better, but what if there are good things that can come out of it? He could get his chance say in an important semi-final, when we're really desperate, and being the good pro he is, will come in, and do a fantastic job for us as a stop-gap, and we go on to win the match. Remember when Man U signed that ancient Scottish keeper? (name escapes me!), and he played a fucking blinder on the one appearance he made? Chill boys. Souness REALLY set us back to this with his over spending. What are you lot going to do about this? Fucking stop supporting the club? No. So swallow it and move the fuck on.
