Hero's an overstatement. He's been a good player in the 2nd half of the season no doubt.
-
yes but birmingham have just kicked off Have they? Playing 2 games in a matter of hours in amazing. Well done them
-
If my calculations are right we can't finish any lower than 9th or 10th. Now considering we were close to relegation it's not that bad of a finish. Would prefer Europe. If that means Blackburn and Bolton losing all their games, Howay the Lads
-
It's as good as over. Blackburn are a point behind us with 2 games in hand.
-
Of all the people on the pitch it had to be a one on one chance for Titus Bramble. We f***ing blew it and lost Europe as well. Oh well see ya next season.

Why bother giving the ball to Faye? It's a waste of time. We can cut out the middle man and give it straight to Birmingham -

Challenge with Ferreira and Rooney landed badly then rolled around clutching his right foot. He was down for minutes and ended up being stretchered off -

Well it was all over the front and back pages of the Evening Chronicle and they seem about 99.9% certain it is him
-
Yeah but most of the time he has been caretaker, he has not been interested in the job. Therefore no pressure on him. After all he aint gonna be sacked if we play crap because he's the caretaker manager. He could put Ameobi in goal and get away with it. Absolutely no pressure on him. Caretaker managers don't have pressure. There is pressure when you have to meet coursework deadlines because you are working towards a grade, there is pressure when you are at work selling whatever because you are working to make money to live. You are working to achieve nothing as a caretaker manager and you will lose nothing if you don't perform so there is no pressure on you.
-
Read my post properly. I am not talking about the pressure of a new manager, I am talking about the pressure of a caretaker manager. There is none but if he gets the job, there will be as you already say. Pressure changes people and often teams. Thats why I am saying if he is hired, don't expect the same football we have played the past two months
-
Being a Caretaker Manager is so much different to being a proper manager. The pressure will be on. He will have to do well, he has to get it right or he is out of a job. Trust me Glenn Roeder will be a completely different person and coach if he is hired full time and the football we play will be as well. Our current run is not a sign of things to come. Our current run is like that because the pressure isn't on Roeder, it doesn't matter if he succeeds or not so he can do things whatever way. To say that any professional in any sport doesnt feal pressure is wrong, most pressure comes from fans who loook to destroy you from day 1, Roeder was not my 1st choice but he will have my full support until he proves he doesnt deserve it and all fans should give him the same. Why would Glenn Roeder feel pressure if come next week, he wont be in the job but will be back in the academy with the youngsters. Of course he isn't feeling pressure, he has nothing to prove and has nothing to lose or gain because he is in a temporary position.

em no he doesn't. He has said many times he is not interested
-
you never know. This may be the only one who is left. All of the decent ones may have turned us down. After all we are not a 'big' club anymore
-
Chances are Oliver's made it up tbh, although I agree that if it's true it's utterly shambolic decision-making on fatty belatty's behalf. Not the decision to appoint Roeder per se, but the reasoning behind it. aye. The reasoning has to be wrong if what Oliver says is right. If he is hired, I don't know whether I am happy or not.
-
Although people have dismissed due to Shepherd's statement which by the way says no comment and doesn't dismiss anything, I think there has to be some truth in it. The Chronicle would not run the risk by putting it on the front page if there was no truth in it because it would make them look stupid.

This Shearer thing is a f***ing joke. I looking forward to seeing the club move on but no we hire Glenn Roeder so that Alan Shearer can come back in a few months and still have a place at the club. We will look f***ing sad to the rest of the footballing world, we really have to let go of Shearer and move on. You can't rely on him forever. By the sounds of the Oliver article, it is one of the main reasons Roeder has apparently been given this job should reports be true.
