Nah, even in the Championship he was shit. He's been so counter productive every time out on the pitch for us at any level. I like the idea of players getting stuck but he just took to such a destructive and unproductive level. Hard to believe he played in the thrashing of Villa back in August.

Not sure what point you are trying to make here. That all strikers miss. Good finishers score more often than others. Owen missed more than what you'd expect from a good finisher. He also always seemed to miss the same way. No plan B when 1 on 1.

Wish he did play somewhere regularly; would love to see those one on ones where he puts himself to the left of the goal opens his body and tries to side foot EVERY SINGLE TIME and misses.

He's been going on about Valencia for ages. Don't know why he has such a fascination with them. Not that I'm saying he should join Newcastle, but you'd think with the state they're in it's a bit of a side step plus he'd probably get as much of an improved contract anywhere else. I guess when you've spent however long in Lorient, going to play in Spain is an attractive prospect.

Think Ferguson's starting eleven maximised their chances but you can only do so much. Only big question mark remains Berbatov, surely he would have given them something different which is exactly what they needed in the second half.
