Hughton is like Roeder. His best team selections are when there are just about 11 players available. When there's actual decisions and choices to be made he's such a no risk yes man.
Seemed like he was starting to do that in the last couple of games... gone back to fannying around with the ball in the first half today. The goal probably made him all cocky.
I think Shola and Chopra were always too close in their NUFC upbringing, was only ever going to be one or the other. Once Shola got his foot in the door of the first team it was over for Chopra unfortunately and he never go a chance
Oh of course. Players like Saylor, Enrique are doing a good thing staying but I don't expect in million years they'll be willing to "sacrifice" more than one season of their careers and rightly so.
Lovenkrands could be in the same category as Saylor and Guthrie. Very decent in the Prem, walking it and high quality in the CCC. Very happy he's back.
