Was a terrible lay off too actually. Carroll put far too much pace on it and also passed to his right foot! You could see Duff was asking for it on his left.

I'd pick Shearer over the Bulgarian both in their primes any day and a 01-03 Shearer seems better to me than a 96-98 Stoichkov.

Stoichkov was at his best from 90 to 94

Both in their primes I'd certainly say so. Probably not in a "when they had Bobby as manager" capacity unfortunately.

Edit: actually, strike that. Stoichkov only managed 7 goals in 26 games when him and Bobby were both involved with Barca.

It's brilliant seeing shirts of so many different clubs. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, the whole stadium could get filled all the way up to the roof it wouldn't be enough.

i believe kk would have kept us up last season, but would you really want dennis wise and llambias being your boss?

I'd like to think most people who claim to love the club as much as Keegan assured us he did would see beyond that.

Forget even love. Just have the club's best interests at heart... but I guess it was far more important to have the club as a whole be put in jeopardy over the next years just to be proven right over the spell of a few months.
