Big banner dedicated for the boss in the Ipswich game for his return from illness? -
Regardless, he was a class footballer.

Loved the bit when he was on the right wing and took a great touch from a wayward pass and then flicked it over the defender winning a foul in the process.

Think he would get in most of the big teams in Europe right now. Oozes confidence and I love his style - reminds me of Scholes with his constant movement of the ball and always being avaliable for it. But, the scary thing is, that's only half of his game with his reading of the game and breaking up attacks. Hybrid of Scholes and Kante maybe?

Posted this but it might have been missed with the hype around Schar's shot. Any ideas?

It's okay to say his transfer business wasn't the best without hating the guy. He did everything he could whilst he was here, and I was gutted when he left. I already stated in the previous post that he had it hard with the state of the club affairs at the time. You can't say Sels and Joselu were successful signings just because they've gone on to be successful at other clubs. Edit: meant to quote @Ronaldo also but not sure how!

Yea, agreed that his hands were tied during his reign. For every Alonso he discovered at Liverpool, there were a few naff ones also. It just shows how good our recruitment has been so far under Howe.

I loved Rafa, but he didn't have the best record . Schar is easily the best pound for pound signing, and Murphy has turned out great, but Muto and Lazaar are two examples who were absolutely terrible.

Goal difference is over-rated. Winning 8-0 last year kicked off the injury crisis. Conserving energy and having no fresh injury concerns is far more important.

Mentioned it in the match thread but being comfortable on both sides gives him a massive advantage of getting on the plane to the world cup. Previously, it always seemed pointless taking 3 RBs and couldn't cover the left (not counting Trippier) especially when our LB options were Shaw and Chilwell who are never fit.
