  1. i'm sure the booing was more about Oba going off rather than Owen coming on. sadly, the undercurrent inside SJP amongst the fans is anti-owen and pro-oba. Not what I heard tbh. how did you hear it ?
  2. it's almost a problem having a young full back in enrique as we need cover but how many players would come. will they think "they've got a first choice 20yr old so why bother" have to admit i'm looking forward to watching enrique settle, especially away from home.

  4. Agreed, especially with the first point. When N'Zogbia beats his man he looks to get the ball in straight away while the opposition defence is disorganised, Milner on the other hand stops, turns the man again, does a step over, turns the man again before floating a high ball in, while he's going through the usual routine out on the wing which is slowing our play down the opposition back four has a chance to reorganise and set themselves again. when's he done this ? last season he was our 3rd best left midfielder, this season he's played left back and got round the back how many times ?you could argue when he's got forward it's been cos of milners hold up play. you'll also find when he plays midfield and is further forward, quite often ahead or on line with the forwards he doesn't whip it over but holds it up a lot more however he'll put it in earlier when it's rolled back to him, which he can do when playing at full back.Watch N' You're flogging a dead horse mate. Milner isn't as good. Not sure anyone could put hand on heart and claim he is. I admire your support of Milner but he will be top class the day we find the earth is flat. Watch N'Zogbia on Saturday and he drives at people. They have no idea if he is going outside them or about to shoot (see the shot in the first half Howard did well to get a hand to). Milner doesnt have those options - Zogbia does. Note how he broke away from left back against West Ham and outpaced Bowyer on the outside. Milner wouldnt have got there. Nb: I have some doubt N'Zogbia will be top class but he certainly has the tools to be that. Milner has always slowed play down. Sadly he doesn't have the pace or technical ability to do anything else. He's been sussed. At Man City it was embarrassing waching the lad as they just let him get on with it while they regrouped. i don't think milner is better, i make them even at the minute. we aren't going to agree, should we drop it before we become ne5/mick ?

  6. over how long ?does that mean last christmas you were saying the opposite of what you are now saying. if you think milner should be replaced then i can't understand why you don't think n'zogbia shouldn't be replaced, both players have similar potential and at least milner doesn't become more of a hinderance but keeps working when it's not going for him. i agree with dropping milner right now, like i said drop n'zogbia last year. N'Zogbia has the tools Milner will never have. No lover of hard work without talent. Prefer a lazy b****** like Robert or Petrov to Milner any day. He simply doesnt have it. N'Zogbia is not going to be great either but has an awful lot more going for him than Milner. Nb: No I wasnt saying the opposite last xmas. Was that the last time James played well? He certainly did ok then. Nothing then told he shouldn't be replaced though. i don't see what n'zogbia has done in his time here to rate him any better then milner. Just ability. Milner doesn't have the tools. My main concerns with Milner: His technique isn't great. (zog has a better touch and ability on the ball) His crossing is patchy (as is Zogs but he can whip a ball and Milner can't do it as well) He has below average Premiership pace (Zog isnt lightning but he has above average pace) Both are strong but Zog is more aggressive. Both decent squad players. milners technique is as good,i'd say he's better dribbling than n'zog and gets past his man more. milners crossing is as good as n'zogbia's milner can play well on either side n'zogbia has a better eye for goal milners defends better from midfield then n'zogbia but n'zogbia makes an adequate full back. both decent squad players with potential.
  7. is booing the substitution and chanting obas name the secand he leaves the pitch a tad more than fans frustration. check out some of the posts on here to see what some nufc fans think of him. Tbf Martins is being treat like s*** in all of this i don't think so. the manager plays what he considers to be his best team.

  10. He has rarely been above average tbh. You are right though, he has been s*** lately. N'Zogbia and Duff have the tools. Milner doesnt. Simple really. Anyway, a left back, a right winger, a creative midfield player and perhaps a few kids to develop. We could do with a few more but anyone better than we have is fine by me. where did i say milner had been s*** ? i said "poor",s*** is what n'zogbia and duff were last season, remember when milner was or best LEFT sided midfielder.he's not playing as well as he did last season and to be honest there wasn't much to choose between him and the fans fave n'zog yesterday(class marking from the frenchman on their equaliser) it would not surprise me if milner was dropped for as i have said his last couple of games havent been his best) anyway what would i want the club to be looking for in january. a creative and strong box to box central midfielder and a huntelaar type forward. Zog has the ability, Milner doesnt. Simple really. Milner has been a passenger this season and looking back at last season is pointless. Personally I thought he was average at best then. Compared to players in teams we should be challenging he is nowhere near their standard - Petrov, Lennon, Bentley etc. Of course Zog has a lot to learn. However he has had a more productive 2 months than Milner ever has had playing from left back..... You're right though Milner needs dropping. The midfielder would help. A wide player with pace and crossing ability would be perfect. milner was average last season ? what has n'zogbia done that milner hasn't ?

    Shay Given

keepers dont organise the defence as much as you and others think.they, like all other players will yell there is a man open etc but if you think cech organises the chelsea defence and not terry youd be wrong. (sorry about not using apostrophies but for some reason everytime i try to use one the "quick find" thing comes on and whatever i type goes into the quick find box.....bizzarre)

  14. I thought the season started in August. yes and milner hasn't been poor for that length of time.
  15. ironic that milner has a poor couple of weeks yet you are happy with n'zogbia/duff who were both shit for an entire season.
  16. milner has a poor couple of games and geremi hasn't even been used there and we get this.
  17. 2nd goal was given's fault, coupled with his howler in the first few minutes proves he is really shit. we need new keeper as harper should never be allowed in our goal after alonso scored from his own half.
  18. an open goal is an open goal regardless of how it came about. it's abit pointless taking on the entire oppsition, balancing the ball on your scrotum whislt performing open heart surgery on the linesman if you don't put the ball over the line. it's as easy to say owen created his by being in the right place.
  19. even subjective data can be used as statistics providing there is no mixing the subjective and the fact based. my reason for asking was that the ratings in his sig have given as by far the best rated nufc player.
  20. james...where do the stats in your sig come from ?
