I can't really decide. We stay where we are which is the best site, expand a bit, keep the history etc. Or we move to a new build state of the art place. There's no lose to either for me providing it's still city centre.
-
Of course it's a huge task, hence the feasibility study, but it's not impossible. As for putting people in the gods, we do that already and people go. Edit....there are currently examples of roads, even railways going "under" stands.
-
Years ago under Hall and Shephard they said it was doable engineering wise but financially not worth it. Engineering has moved on since then and we have deeper pockets.
-
Whyvare we completely knocking it down ?How long did Liverpool need to shut their stand for?
-
Why would the gallowgate/corners need to be emptied?

The obvious solution to this would be for current season ticket holder to be allowed in to a new stadium from when the turnstiles open and come in as late as they like. The newly created season ticket holders have to be in by a certain time, say 2 hrs before KO, to spend their coin in the concourses etc. No loss of revenue for the city centre, extra revenue for the club, what's not to like
-
See the powers the utilities regulators etc have that don't get used.
-
The most they'll do is have a scheme for equitable ticketing, maybe some restrictions about timing of games for travelling fans but won't touch the business side of things. Their role will be to do nothing much while looking as if they are doing something

Makes you wonder why he bothered assembling one of the most expensive squad ever if it makes little difference (that the Man Utd squad was more expensive says as much about their managers than any other club). Being able to spend like that doesn't guarantee success...... makes it much more likely though.
-
Not many clubs can "afford" to waste that much and get away with it. You'd have to say he was lucky to be in a position to waste so much but still be able to keep going until he got the right ones in, no ?
-
So it's gone from him inventing to being the first over here to try it. Again it's a lot easier to do it when you can bully the transfer market to get the players you want.
-
Paragraphs 1 and 2. That becomes a damn sight easier when you can blow everyone out the water financially (see Mourinho). There's always a question mark over managers who've always been able to dominate the transfer market. And he's improved players, Lo a miracle !, I doubt there's enough bandwidth to example other managers who've done that. Paragraph 3......wtf ? He invented playing out from the back ?

Did something change in the time from the takeover to a few months later, FMV wise ?
-
Yeah I'd forgot about that.
-
I've always thought we were biding our time, waiting in particular for the Man City fall out, but now seems like a decent time to start pushing the argument.
-
It's what I was getting at the other day about the club going public with its argument. The more voices shouting this, and its quite irrefutable, the more chance something gets done.
-
Really ? Line ups por favor.

Why do you think the points deductions have only came about since the mention of one ?

When I murder someone I want you on the jury.

Cattermole ? One of the few players I've seen intentionally go out to injure. Started off with great potential as well.
-
Forest have broke the rules.......but they are obviously stupid rules that dont fit the purpose they are there for.
-
And any punishments should be laid out in advance.
-
Didn't know that. Cheers.

It'll be knocked down to two on appeal.
