Proves the Mags saying he'd only go there if he was given a load of money to spend were wrong FTM 2-1. That moral victory is better than buying a decent striker.

Owen Coyle has confirmed Sunderland have made an enquiry for Kevin Davies, but the Bolton Wanderers manager remains keen to keep the veteran striker. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7463836/

Trololololol http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1013302/bayern-munich-anger-fans-with-%27new-signing%27-pr-stunt?cc=5739 Bayern Munich claimed "a spectacular name" would be signing for the club on Thursday, but provoked an angry response from their fans when it was found to be a marketing stunt. The German club attempted to gain interest in their new marketing tool - an app - by creating a huge wave of speculation over who the new signing would be. Fans were invited to log on and watch the deal unfurl on their official Facebook page, but were let down when general manager Christian Nerlinger revealed an envelope with the users' own Facebook profile pictures on it. In addition, the users also saw their own name appear on the back of a Bayern Munich No. 8 shirt. "Dear fans, you probably already noticed, that we did not sign a new player," a statement on Bayern Munich's Facebook page read. "This app is for our fans to show the importance of you for our club."

Indeed. Horrible "club." Don't really know much about MK Dons why are they a "horrible" club?

He's a canny player and a good professional, which is why he's still playing and scoring regularly in the premier league at the age he is. But I'd like Sunderland to sign him because it demostrates which route they're going down in buying over the hill 'safe' premier league experienced players. It's something we used to do a lot and it got us nowhere. Still can't really see it happening.
  17. The story of how a guy's mocked up Athletico strip trolled fans, the Spanish press, and led to a knock-off football shirt company actually making his shirt, believing it to be a genuine leak http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/owbs8/how_i_accidentally_trolled_the_spanish_press/

    Harry Redknapp

Is he being demonised for stealing £189,000 from the public purse as much as people who claim £53 a week on Jobseekers?
