I'm not sure anyone rates him to do any of that. The fact is he's scored most of our goals and we can't sign anyone else until January. Therefore him being out is a bad thing.

Fucking spot on. Fully expected us to be easily beaten. Fair play to Luque, Butt and Krul for doing the business. Luque scored which is the important bit, though he didn't do much else. The number of times we should have killed it off towards the end was annoying though, with a pacy striker and some movement we'd surely have had more goals on the counter attack.

Parker is the club captain. That shouldn't be a factor, but it is.

He is part of an extremely well organised (Courtesy of Tony Adams) defensive unit, and he is surrounded on all sides by experience and quality. James, Stefanovic, Primus, Glen Johnson with his head screwed on, right up thru Sean Davis and Benjani, it all makes a big difference defensively. Obviously a good player but hes no miracle worker. Agreed, watered down Titus. Yep, though individually he would undoubtedly have helped us, the organisation and management there is working. Ours is not.
