Not sure that quite stacks up, Coloccini is one of the best centre halves in the league with the ball at his feet and recently there's been a very noticable lack of playing it short to him either. Krul is either taking it upon himself to smack it up to the forwards time after time or the tactics have been changed. It's quite rare to be able to play it short to CB and as far as playing it to our fullbacks, I think it's better to lose possession past halfway line than on our own third.

After today, yes. Says everything we already knew about Simpson though tbh, for a team in our position he is playing above his level. Against the better teams he isnt good enough, simple as that. He should have cleared upfield instead of hanging on and knocking for a throw in You're kidding, right? He got played a horrible ball under a lot of pressure. It wasn't terrible ball, Simpson is just the the least talented football player in the league.

Cabaye wasn't class but Williamson impressed. he was man not only did he run the most(7,916) but he made some good passes(again) he put ba through on goal with a great through ball but the keeper was too quick to come out and stop it. It was Raylor too.

I don't think people are harsh on him, everyone is excited. The match just showed how much Cabaye means to us even off the ball. the amount of pressure he puts on the opposition is amazing and I think his absence really affected Tiote's perfomance too. Tiote was poor but he was really doing almost all the work in midfield. And that's not harsh on Vuckic, he's just not yet ready to play CM in 4-4-2. Going forward he was great and reminded me of the times of Laurent Robert ie. feeling real excitement when he got in position to shoot. Really hope we would try the suggested formations that include Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa and Vuckic.
