Those quotes are ridicules! Simply embarrassing. We didn't fucking "go for it", you cunt. And that dig at SMB was just needless and a sign of a very, very desperate man. Get out of our club... Get out of our club... You clueless cockney bastard, get out of our cluuuuuuuuub!
  4. Actually, they applauded him when he was stretched off.
  5. Rich c***. He was worth 1.8 billion when he bought us iirc. Went down to 800 million at some point too? So this represents a handsome increase if so. fuck's sake dat bank balance. Must have been through some rough times there...... no wonder he lost some weight.

  7. Sissoko Tiote HBA Cabaye Marveaux (Preferably new attacker) Cisse That's the role that I would like to see him tested in. He'd do less running playing in the hole but he'd probably still drop a little bit deeper and help-out the 2 CMs when required. Thus far, in his NUFC career, "running the show" has not been one of Cabaye's strengths. He's a player that produces "moments of magic"; I hope playing him further up the park would put him in dangerous positions to produce those moments more frequently.

would that not possibly mean tiote getting far too much possession ? He needs to win it and then give it; look what's in-front of him! i was more thinking of when we play the ball out from the back 4. that central pivot gets more of the ball and that would be tiote, if not it drags cabaye basically back into the position he has been the last few weeks. Well, considering that we've got 2 good footballing CBs at the club (or at least one from next season), you should expect them to be able to carry the ball and look for options ahead of them. Tiote covering. easy said but look at most teams, they play it to that central pivot in the hope it drags a player in and creates space in behind. also it means we have tiote in there purely to win it and give it, nothing else ? but of a waste of a space on the team sheet imo. Rubbish, there are plenty of CBs that come-out with the ball. Having the CBs coming-up with the ball is probably a more effective way to create space in the middle of the park as it takes longer for the pressing player to chase the CB and closing him down. (Unless you've got a Kevin Davies like striker in your side. ) It's not a waste of space having a player there purely to win it and release it to the more creative players. The more we push-up, the further up the park Tiote would win it; thus helping us keep the ball in the opposition's half a bit more.

Perhaps he was a "panic buy" as it was getting apparent that we weren't getting anywhere in our transfer dealings that summer. That's what crossed my mind after few games watching him anyway. (Although he has improved slightly since then and I'm still quite confident he could have a future here.)
  14. Jol seems to be a bit overrated to me. I mean his teams have never had that killer punch, imo. Everyone knows about how his last full season at TH ended, but also at HSV; chocked quite badly, iirc. I don't think his footballing style is that interesting anyway.

Really disappointed for the guy. Must be so frustrating. Why the club are being so vague about it??
