  1. Bradford did lose at home to the bottom side the week before mind. Still smarting from that.
  2. fffffuuuuuuuuuu Well done lads. Good prediction that like, 46 years in advance.
  3. http://i.imgur.com/36uHESG.gif That thing where he flicks his hands in perfect sync with the broadcast CGI has to be the best Rafa gif.
  4. Suddenly reminded of when he gestured that the game was finished when Liverpool played Blackburn and Fat Sam's Fat Head went radge.
  5. Benitez must have lost the plot.
  6. Last time they had bother and it was mid-afternoon the day after. Every other time it's been within two hours of full time.
  7. It's 1-1 mate. You knew what I meant. £345 profit. Cashed out before the end like which I'm regretting.
  8. Me and the wife have 2-1 each way. Could really do with this game staying 0-0 until 80 minutes.
  9. I also think he'd be incredibly stupid to take the job, even for ten games.
  10. I always say that a manager should be judged by his league record because anyone can win a cup with the right draw and a couple of good performances. Benitez has proved himself extremely adept at getting to finals and winning trophies with his conservative style but less convinced by him over a league season. As for whether he can make a difference here within ten games, God knows. I don't think any manager can long term while Ashley remains.

Can't wait to read the comments on that Facebook page when he gets sent down. Fucking dangerous maniacs.
  12. I definitely haven't got plenty money in the bank, that's why I go for broke. They do it often enough that anyone should be either able to win or be in a position to cash out for a few hundred on a fairly regular basis. Don't know what I'd have done without the ~£2.5k I've had off them in the last two seasons.
  13. I totally get why people do matched betting but I'll never understand why anyone would do it for this offer. It's too good to waste it on getting £30.
  14. Delaney's now saying that there must be "a spell" on the club. Wonder who he's been listening to.

But it blatantly hasn't worked for the last few years, if we don't know how to appoint a proper footballing MD, then the next best thing would probably be to hire a highly rated manager and let him do the job. At some point even Ashley must surely realise this? It has worked perfectly for the last few years, just not this time.

Chris Sutton was desperately pleading for Harry Redknapp to get the job on 5Live last night. As more and more clubs realise that these British dinosaurs aren't actually the best option (take a look at the top ten, only Mark Hughes has had more than one job in England before their current one and he's the only British manager amongst them), we'll see even more of their mates in the media trying to get them work. Given the recent performances of Bilic, Flores, Koeman and Pochettino, any vaguely ambitious Premier League club would be mad to go searching through the pile of British losers in the bin instead of looking abroad. That's not to say there aren't promising British managers (Eddie Howe has worked miracles) but I'm hoping the tendency for real clubs to look for "Premier League experience" is over. The requirement is a myth.
  18. It's rare a mainstream media piece captures the root of the problem when it's not written by George Caulkin but that one does.
  19. Aye, I saw that the other day, £72k he took, not bad like for a £50 stake but as you say, crazy to cash out this week.
  20. Might as well write a begging letter to ISIS asking them to stop being dafties.
  21. Is this bloke actually dead?

Have Stranraer sacked their manager lately?
  23. Yep. Annoyed I only risked a fiver at 16s. Oh how they laughed at us, at the time. I'm sure they'll fuck it up for us. Keep him for a couple more games before sacking him and in the meantime, Alex Neill or Garde will leave More likely to be Pardew, just to put a bit more misery into our lives for old time's same.
