  1. Swansea have bought a centre forward for 12 million quid while Norwich have spent 17 million on two. Meanwhile Newcastle United are proving their ambition by trying to knock a million off 7 for their main striking target.
  2. Is 7m cheap? Was 12m on Debuxhy and Mbiwa cheap? Was Anita cheap at 6m? We've been right up there with the top spenders in the last two January windows. We've had 1 bad window in the last 4- let's wait and see what happens with this one. The 'we're cheap bastards' line is as bad as the 'we sell all our good players' line. We look for value for money. I don't always agree with it but that's the way it is. We've had to pay more money in January than everyone else because we were too tight to pay for players in the summer - you know, when you're actually meant to do most of your business? When other real football clubs do it? Debuchy? We wouldn't pay the going rate for him in the summer then when we bought him after relying solely on Simpson for five months our manager whinged like fuck that he'd had to throw them straight into a relegation fight. That's what pre season is meant to be for but why bother when you can throw half a season down the toilet to try and get a pound off? Is 7 million cheap for Gomis? Dunno, never seen him play. I know the clubs we're meant to be competing with are attempting to spend 20-40 million on strikers so make up your own mind. Utterly laughable people trying to claim that we do actually pay big money for players by bringing up sums that we were regularly shelling out fifteen years ago. Seven million is fucking peanuts in today's Premier League, that's why you'll struggle to get a decent Championship player with it. They've just massively ramped up the tv money and we're still meant to celebrate wasting our pre-season by trying to haggle.
  3. We're more desperate for pacey wide players than anything but if it's not available on the cheap, we're not interested.
  4. God we're so predictably pathetic.
  5. Doesn't sound like anything has changed to me - he was a bare-faced liar last season and still is.
  6. Had no idea Chopra was at Blackpool now. Bet the arcades on the front are making a mint when he rocks up with a Transit van full of 2 pences.
  7. Seen his comments about Suarez on the BBC website today? All about how he should stay with Liverpool because they're "as big, if not bigger" than Arsenal and he's struggling to understand why anyone would leave a club with the "stature" of Liverpool. What a fucking dimwit the bloke is. There's got to be a few worried faces down at BT Sport.

  10. Let's hope the fat old cunt's opinion of his health is as accurate as everything else that comes out of his mouth.
  11. Couldn't even watch that video, the bloke is utterly cringeworthy.

    Papiss Cissé

I won't be happy with the cunt until he's making Miss Newcastle go round in a burkha and declares jihad.

So was Freddie Kanoute in that case. Difference there was that Sevilla's loyalty was to their star player, while we don't actually give the first fuck about being good at football so we're standing up for the loan sharks that we've jumped into bed with.

"Grassing up" - It's common knowledge anyway and, in my opinion, he's trying to force a move away. I thought some might see it as bad crack but everyone has their choice and opinion. Fair enough. The chances of us seeing the situation resolved have reduced dramatically as a result and we've no chance of finding a better striker than Cisse. But at least you got your name in the paper.

Canny shit our own supporters grassing our best players up to the newspapers if you ask me. Mike Ashley will find that sort of thing funny as fuck.

Never really understood the appeal of apps for individual forums. Surely the whole appeal of Tapatalk is that I can have everything in one place?
  17. Simpson who played about thirty games last season is difficult to count.
  18. That's it. Waste of anyone's time trying to micro-analyse the situation beyond that conclusion.
  19. Just another step in what he finds most rewarding about owning NUFC, making the supporters livid/miserable/both. Bet he punched the air when JFK told him he had a mackem mate to get on the books.
  20. Well we would wouldn't we, we can see what Pardews serves up is not working. I realise it a futile thing to wonder why but what is it about him that he can't see the problems. How can he not notice the awful football, the poor players he puts out, set pieces (nuff said), a system and tactic that's completely unsuited to the players he has. Is it arrogance, ego or is it just that he's completely useless ?. Maybe it's a bit of all three. I don't know but it's so easy to see where the problems in our play and tactics are it's ridiculous, In fact the problem really is just him now, As he can't see the glaringly obvious, that someone with an ounce of football noggin can. Obviously I agree bimpy but when he wasn't sacked at the end of the season, I went past the point of getting myself worked up about it. That might change when the season begins but what's the point? The bloke is hilariously out of his depth and the best we can hope for is that he gets the bullet before his seven remaining years are up.
  21. Obviously he's going to play the same way. That's the way Pardew's teams play. Bizarre to see some shouting for change of method. It's not going to happen.
