Looks the brilliant stadium it is there, now with Sports Direct plastered all over the front of both stands and the top of the Gallowgate, it looks pretty disgusting and cheap as fuck. Next summer, I fully expect red and blue seats to go in.

Hope those letters are still stored somewhere, wouldn't surprise me if the fucking oxygen thief has melted them down to make a few quid.

Even managed to make the 'Newcastle United' look fucking vile, might as well be Comic Sans.

I've started listening to it this season but I don't know, there's something a bit too much "trying to be funny" about it, can't really get into it. Annoys me them all falling about laughing at their own jokes that I don't find particularly funny. The only football show I listen to religiously is the Arsenal Tuesday Club with Alan Davies, which is brilliant but obviously has a major flaw of being solely about Arsenal. I'm a long time listener and I think it's started becoming a little clichéd but it's still very good and better than most else. Tuesday Club is outstanding though and is usually at it's best when Arsenal are fucking things up. Definitely, was a bit boring last week after the Swansea game but looking forward to this week's. Was absolutely brilliant after the 8-2. Makes a big difference having professional comedians on who are also real football fans, bit like what made Fantasy Football so good. Definitely, as I think I've said before on here Alan Davies has gone way up in my estimation as a result of listening to it. Used to think he was just a token celebrity fan but he's a proper 'true supporter'. (Whatever one of those is) Lives up Corbridge way too. Does he really? Is his missus from up here or something? I'm a proper Jonathan Creek fanboy so he's long had my vote. Great story last week about having to buy the same plane tickets three times when trying to get to Copenhagen for the UEFA Cup final.

I'll give it another go, I really don't like the opening segment though, that usually gets me a bit sick of it. Tuesday Club - definitely get the ones after Liverpool and Man Utd games this season and it's worth getting the ones from last season after Liverpool, Spurs and our 4-4 too. Very funny.

It's like chalk and cheese with cricket commentary/discussion, which I love listening to. Maybe that's because I have less of a vested interest in it though.

I don't mind Roberts, but I don't agree with having current players on something like 606. If a Blackburn fan rings up, you're hardly likely to hear Roberts offering any criticism of the manager, other players or the owners and that defeats the point.

Kick in the bollocks that we're not going to catch them after a Europa game like the mackems did today, jammy fucks. Swings and roundabouts. You caught Fulham 3 days after they'd been playing in Ukraine. A fair point but at least with Stoke, you always know you're going to get a good game... apart from the one day the fucking crisis mackems have to play them.
-
I used to always think football shows should have some football journalists on instead of just ex-players but now when I hear Shaun Custis etc on 5Live, I just end up thinking "ffs put Mark Lawrenson back on, you clueless arsehole."
-
I know a Sunderland fan who hates Mackems and the town - says he can't get out of the place quick enough when a game is over. (He lives in Northumberland). He can't explain how he has ended up supporting them.

Can't find it on Youtube but I remember Thierry Henry making a real howler against Southampton at St Mary's from six yards with an open net.
-
Funny how Rosenthal has become the benchmark against which all misses have subsequently been measured - there've been worse since.
-
No but they have had the advantage already surely? They had a near open net, should it be brought back just because he missed it? Torres.
-
Guessing he's played advantage Man Utd because the challenge didn't affect Hernandez missing the chance? Strange one though.
-
Ugh, and the day had been going so well.
-
Eh? Cabaye played the full game in the derby. Edit: went off with five minutes left.
-
I liked Parker when he was here but he's not and never will be on the same planet as Tiote.
-
If Barcelona played here they wouldn't have their own tv deal making a somewhat fairer playing field. Every other chairman in Spain admits there's a massive problem but it doesn't surprise me that Messi doesn't admit to it.

You'd have to be seriously deluded to suggest that La Liga is no less competitive than the Premier League. I know everyone on here tugs themselves off on it weekly but I bet it's no picnic if you support anyone other than those two.
