I thought that might be the case. The prat must just sit by the phone all day reading the rags and preparing his latest stupid comments.
-
For me it would be madness to just abandon the formation that brought us such success last season - the only problem is that it depends very specifically on the strengths of our three strikers and if one of them is absent, it might fall apart.
-
Gilmour seems to exist solely to provide stupid comments to the papers - that's if he even exists at all. Love to know who he is and what the "Newcastle United Independent Supporters’ Association" actually do. I suspect the answer is 'fuck all'.
-
Careful, they've played two or three pre-season games. Let's not get carried away.
-
Colocinni and Faye need to be first choice next season, no question.
-
Shola's a far better player and far better striker than Smith. Not even up for discussion iyam.
-
Thank Christ, that was diabolical.
-
Milner doing Smith's job for him again.

One thing that never fails to amuse me about the papers is how they will all pretend they know all the intricate details of a story once another rag has printed it. If you knew so much, why didn't you put it in this morning's edition, you know-nothing, shit-stirring bunch of cunts?
-
He was moved into midfield even at Leeds because he couldn't cut it up front and Leeds signed forwards left, right and centre so they wouldn't have to play him there. Was always average at best other than an early purple patch and now average looks a million miles away.

Smith there. mackems.gif MUST. NOT. SHOOT.
-
I reckon he sees the urgency more than anyone else at the club. If it means we're attempting to sign players of the quality of Coloccini then I'm prepared to wait. If there's at least two attacking players to come of that quality, I'll be pretty happy.
-
You'd rather win than lose though. It's not even the results, we've not had a shot to speak of in three games (one against Doncaster). Owen and Viduka will get injuries and a striker is absolutely critical in the next 28 days.
-
Hopefully no more than 3 or 4, but how many of this mob are going to be called into action over the course of a season, especially if we don't see Barton for months, who's been no great shakes himself in black and white anyway.
-
I know they're pre-season friendlies but these last two and half games, dear me... Without at least a top class striker and a top class midfielder, it's going to be a long hard slog.
-
That's twice the long ball has gone to the "striker", once it was Milner and then Geremi. Smith puts effort in? Don't make me laugh, I'd love to kick the half arsed cunt up the arse.
-
This tour, nay this pre-season, seems to have been an absolute waste of time. Of the XI playing tonight, only two (possibly three, we've not really seen enough of Guthrie yet) of them should realistically be getting a game in the first choice team next season - and one of them's the goalkeeper.
-
Bring back Shola, all is forgiven.
-
They've not let me ask when their sister paper will be starting "Kick Thug Rob Shepherd Out Of Football Journalism". I wanted to lend my support.

Rubels? He's not Russian ffs, it's Rupees. I can't believe my good name has been sullied by this poorly researched post.
-
Howay, own up, who was it?
-
It's no the wonder that his article is the first NUFC related one in weeks not to mention Joey Barton. Might leave something in the comments bit, it won't get on but he should still see it.

Toon Takeaway in the Bigg Market have already got the lawyers on this piece of plaigirism.
