How many players have changed their boots/ Commentator says Shola and Jose but Simpson should be the first one in the queue with the kit man.

Love his pants!!!!!

;D No wonder he couldn't get a game.

Who was ahead of him at Pompey?

I am in Winnipeg but travel quite a bit. Best time I had was in Philadelphia was at O'neals - plenty of mags and a good atmosphere. I find it interesting that there are NUFC supporters everywhere. My son wore my '95 home shirt to school for "sports day". All the kids wore their favorite team shirts instead of uniforms for the day. In a school of about 400 kids there were three other Newcastle strips and one of them was the 95 shirt.

Said it before - a CB pairing is more than the sum of it's parts. If the two complement eachother it is that discussion that is key. The individual talents are a post script IMO. Cole looks better with Williamson beside hime and vice versa.
-
Doesn't Torres wanting to leave as soon as Kenny shows up worth one? I make this a score draw; 1-1.

Brilliant work. I actually took the time to read through the comments for full comedy effect!

Real? You serious? How many scouting reports have you read that include "!!!!!!!!!!" at the end of a sentence As mentioned in the NWOAT thread - this was walked around the block back in the day. It turned out is was a hoax back then as well. Wonder why it keeps re-surfacing?
-
It was posted in '05 and thought to be a hoax after about 8 pages. The subsequent 8 re-established credibility and then the final 10 pages put the nail in the coffin.

I am the apple - koo koo katchoo.

Often, a CB pairong is more than the sum of it's parts. Colo's best performances come when he is partnered with Williamson. Somehow they complement each other in a way that makes their performances better.
-
I think the difference might be that our players are more in touch with how important this was to the supporters.

She's getting shagged by an Arab. Pep is shagging Wheese keeys Louise!!!!!
-
I understand that Puyol and Pique are looking for a new challenge but want to stay together. We should get them and have Collocini and Williamson fit for the #3 spot.

Tabloids: Sun, Star, Mirror, Express, Mail, News of the World, People 'Proper' newspapers: Independent, Times, Guardian, Telegraph, Observer Dedicated: Daily/Sunday Sport Cheers for that! So when the Mirror claims that Cheik Tiote has given birth to an alien out of his ass, I should double check with the Independent.

As a Canadian I am generally confused by the print media in England. Which papers are legitimate and which are tabloids? I know that the Sun is a tabloid and that The Times and Guardian are legit. What of the rest in terms of football reporting?

Interesting perspective from a smoggie mate that plays on my Sunday League team. He thinks it is a big brother/little brother relationship. The little brother always trying to get one over on his big brother but rarely succeeding. When he does he bigs it up as much as possible and when he doesn't it is expected so no big deal. FWIW, he also NEVER considers a Newcastle/Boro match a derby. Of course, he wishes that there was such a thing these days...

Welbeck tore his hamstring and Zenden 2 yellows so will miss the cup game not the game with you lot. Decimated by injuries now and I would be amazed if we didn't enter the transfer market now, going to be struggling to put a team out next week at this rate. Cheers for that - hard luck with Wellbeck tearing a hammy. That could be long term. Good break that you have a cup game to clear Zenden.
-
Depends what he got sent off for in regards to length of suspension. Two yellows - so a one game sit down. Do they play a cup game in the meantime? Sorry, I don't really pay any attention to the mackems until derby week.
-
Was Wellbeck stretchered off tonight? Thought I read that in one of the threads but the MBM's just say "left the field" or "replaced by". Zenden also suspended for the derby?
-
They also made Elijah Wood a comedy football hooligan. They also made Elijah Wood a comedy football hooligan. This is Green Street Mr. Frodo - nowt like it in Middle Earth and that's saying something.

Brings our goal difference back to even. I hope we go on to put a few in the bank.
