What do you make of Capello's strategy of not announcing the team until they are on the bus? Personally, I hate it. As a centre back, I always wanted to be settled and to be able to talk to my partner before hand to sort a few things out and feel confident that there was an understanding. This England team looks like they've never met...

South Africa is hosting the world - in my eyes, a good host has empathy for their guests. It is also interesting that the media all over the world is tuning in to this issue with "almost" universal condemnation. The casual coverage is bemoaning the traditional atmosphere that adds to the excitement of the match. Soccer/football is on of the few spectator sports that is enhanced by the crowds participation. The oohs and ahhs during particular passages of play are drowned out making this a passive viewer experience and the game is suffering for it. The hardcore media over here is also condemning them as they want the excitement of the game to draw more people and make the game more popular. When people are actually taking a pass on watching - this World Cup is being drowned out by the vulvazela.

Spain to beat Brazil in the Final. Argentina to beat England in the 3-4 match. The way my bracket works, England have the easiest ride to the semis and Argentina have to go through Germany. With Germany's injuries I think the Argies will make it through and lose to Spain in the semi.

Forgive my ignorance - is there a precedent for a club essentially disappearing? Does the FA have a set of rules that govern this situation? It seems that the clubs that struggle go in to administration and reform while keeping their place in the division they are in. Total winding up seems to only happen with clubs outside the leagues in the lower reaches of the pyramid.

Your taking the piss right? Like people have already said, you don't go away from home to the Nou Camp with that lead and play attacking football, giving Barca that kind of space would have been madness. He called that game exactly right didn't have players chasing the ball, they just let barca have the ball in areas where there was no danger on and put enough pressure on so they couldn't do anything with it. The Mourinho lovers on here were taking themselves FAR too seriously. Thought I could liven thing up.

Catalan fella at my work is twisted in knots!! He can't sit still and keeps stopping by my office to ask me what I think. I told him Inter would get an away goal so Barca had to score 4 - he looked distressed... He said he was on the phone to his family four times in the last 12 hours asking them what was going on. The word is that the Barca fans have honked their car horns outside of the Inter hotel all night. They are also chanting about "leaving their skin on the pitch"!!??!! That sounds foul but I think it gets lost in translation.

I think they should release the new shirt for our second home match of the season. That would really build the anticipation!!
