The lack of leadership is a relevant point. It's been noticeable over the last 6/7 years, since Ashley booted Nolan, Harper, Smith and Barton out of the club - for standing up to him over a win bonus issue. Too many of the squad are populated by yes men (and the club) and as a reason, Rafa has been swimming against the tide. However, he is responsible too.

I think we are done now. A distinct lack of bottle and belief.

Waiting for what Rafa has to say on this. Will he take some of the blame himself?

Would you want Rafa to take another shot at promotion on the basis of the last few weeks? He isn't getting anywhere near the potential out of our players. His staying or going may have been decided some weeks ago, given the players appearing to give up. Something's not right, IMO.

There's one thing that if promotion doesn't happen, Rafa will be away and Ashley/NUFC are going to be fucked financially. Shelvey, Ritchie and Gayle will be peddled, as will anyone else he can get money for.
