  1. By christ - will take that win. A massive, massive result and a wonderful flick and finish from Cisse.
  2. Insipid first half from us is the best way I can describe it. Lacking tempo and fight. Look bereft of confidence and ideas. Very worrying.
  3. Thought we gave it our best shot, but a lack of luck and some dodgy defending (again) cost us. Santon looks like he needs a rest - mentally shattered. We can do it next week, but it's going to be very, very tough.
  4. I'm looking forward to it if I am honest. No pressure on us today - it's all on the home side.

Unfortunately, I can see some of our nuggets doing facist salutes at the derby as well. Not gonna be good.

Fair enough, I just can't remember too much publicity for this in the past. To be fair, Reading aren't as big news as the mackems are.

Reading fans did when he was linked with the job - apparently made the board quite aware di Canio wasn't wanted.

Yup - saw the press conference on Look North. High farce isn't the word. Assume that woman in the blue dress was the CE? Looks a bit of alreet (for a mackem!)

You're baffled why people give a toss about having a high profile fascist in our region/anywhere? If you don't have a problem with fascism then you're part of the problem, tbh. Disgusting from mackems saying they don't care about his political views, but at least it's understandable that they just want what's best for their club, but to hear it from one of us is beyond belief.

Disgusting. I despair with some folk - really.

Fair play to those ones. I would be exactly the same if we appointed a fascist. Yup - have signed up and expressed my support.

I like to think he's quit politics and fucked off to the other side of the planet because he knew this was coming off But to have the principles to make the decision (and the principles to say that's why he's made the decision) is good, aye. Could have stayed on in some capacity, despite going stateside. Fair play to him, I say.

Wow. Fair play to Miliband for sticking up for his principals.

Enjoys courting the media and being centre of attention. One thing's for sure, their lot will be riled up in 2 weeks time. Could end up being a blood-bath.
  18. Great strike for his goal, last night. Will do his confidence the world of good.

di Canio will surely go down well with the EDL in that part of the world.

Wished cancer on Glenn Roeder, when he was in charge of us.

    Alan Pardew

How many times does he need to be taught this lesson? It's what he said. He must have sent the players out to do as they did, unless they are doing it off their own bat.

    Alan Pardew

Pardew on Radio Newcastle now; Too many good players missing No excuses No pressure on Man Citeh today Side unbalanced - James Perch on a yellow - Jonas not a left back Should be stronger for Benfica/Fulham Big lesson today - not good enough retaining possession and no pressing on the ball.
