West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Big Geordie replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Because that's exactly what we've done loads recently, bought English players from other English clubs on deadline days. You are forgetting he has a French sounding surname! <------------------- tongue firmly in cheek with my previous post. -

It's alright lads if he goes to West Ham - we will end up with Adam le Fondre on deadline day! -
I went to that one too (at the Falcons) Got to ask Roeder a question, too. Bad thing was, some of the knackers from Kenton acting like pricks. Would be interested to hear what Harps had to say last night.
-
Because they knew they could. In a nutshell. It was a monumental cover-up by the establishment.
-
Anyone catch Panorama on the BBC last night? Was staggering viewing, as in the sheer depth of the cover-up involved over the past 24 years - Police, Politicians, Ambulance Services, CPS and the media. I hope Duckenworth and Norman Bettison are feeling uncomfortable at this present time. Would like to think they have serious jail time coming, but I won't bet on it. In case anyone missed it; http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...ied_the_Truth/

Nolan has scored more goals this season, than our entire midfield put together, IIRC. These players (with perhaps the exception of Barton, because he is a twat) were shifted on to 'improve us', as was the binning of Hughton. It's come back to bite the club on the backside big time, this season. The men in charge are not football men - the mistakes they keep making bare that out.
-
Terrific tribute in the 37th minute - could see he was genuinely moved by it. Wish him well for the future and hope he comes back here in some capacity.

Newcastle United XI 0-1 Arsenal - 19/5/13 Post Match reaction from p. 29

Should have reported him to a steward. Shite like that needs keeping out of the ground. -
He's won again this season. Club maintained it's PL status, new TV deal comes in next season and if he's still here, Pardew's brief will be to keep is in the division with minimum spending. Oh and Ben Arfa will be shifted on and maybe's Cabaye, but the latter would be no great loss over the last few months.

First half we did OK, but second - we just went through the motions. What happened to playing for the fans today? No doubt Arsenal are a good side, but they were nervous as **** for the last 30mins, whilst we looked totally clueless and inept. No faith in Pardew taking this club forwards because it will be another season of struggle next campaign if he is still in charge. And lets face it - who the hell wants to watch one-dimensional, negative rubbish? -
Bye, Bye Pardew. Rotten season is not only down to the players, but more so down to HIM.
-
Harper. He should be kept on at the club as a coach, or return in the near future. Top lad.
-
Holy shit. Steaming, stinky shit.
-
Bet these cunts will still be chanting for Benitez to get the axe. Has there ever been a more un-deserving club?
-
Bye, Bye Whelan and McManaman, you pair of cunts.
-
Chron as ever, in the club's back pocket.

Pardew on MotD - 'We were first class'. Ummmmm......... -
Incredibly crass comments from Pardew, but should anyone be that surprised? Still got some who are defending him, on other forums and saying that these quotes are borne or relief and frustration. Complete arse-gravy.
-
I want him gone, Suspect he will still be here in August though.
-
Cowardly performance from him today (not that I am complaining!) - as bad as I ever saw from the likes of Owen and Babayaro.
-
Best player on the pitch today, by a country mile.
