Us at Spurs in the FA Cup in 87 was supposed to be very similar. 12000 went down for that and were shoehorned in by all accounts, with some fans having to escape by climbing to the top tier. It's quite amazing really, given that they seem to be such a well run club with regards to the resources they have available to them.

I'd imagine if it gets that bad, they will sell the likes of Rodwell and Fellani to raise some cash. Think Yakubu is still on the books there, so he will probably be draining a fair wedge in wages.

Some of those tackles from Cattermole and Bardsley - dangerous isn't the right word! In saying that, Cabaye on Bardsley in the first half wasn't clever either. Great free-kick from Ryan Taylor though and I'm also a bit bemused by Lineker, etc sticking up for Howard Webb. ::

Terrific win today and I was surprised, given I thought we would get beaten. Was travelling back down from a week's holiday in the Highlands, so had to make do with 'updates' from 5Live. A great end to a good week. Am recording it on Sky - wor lass watching X Factor at the moment.
