  1. Big Geordie

    Llambias

'Attacked' will mean being called some names, questioning his parentage, etc. The man is an arsehole and if he chose to mingle with some of our lot, then he deserves all he got given the way he has treat the fans during his tenure.
  2. Wow. Is that the same Big Geordie who complained about people using the term 'mong' on here? What are you going on about, WUM?
  3. Laughing at the 'shock' of The Mail going on about Llambias being attacked. What do they expect? The man is a grade A c**t who treats the fans like rubbish.
  4. Mackems taking the moral high ground on RTG. Sure tonight wasn't at all good (and I hope those reponsible are caught and dealt with) but them lot down the road are hardly saints either. Some trying to justify that young lad jumping on Harper at their place back in Jan.
  5. Guess loads of them on the pitch will have been on the lash for most of the day. Still no excuse, like. Reckon it'll be the last friendly jaunt down there for a while, which is a shame.
  6. I remember going down to the friendly two years ago, and a couple of loons at the front ran on the pitch when Shola scored. Cue much hilarity when they were beign chased by the stewards.
  7. An impressive following for a Fri night.
  8. I can't be arsed with the Ryder txt comms - so if folk can provide updates on here, I would be grateful.
  9. If Jose wants away, then best to let him go asap for as good a deal as possible. No sense in having an unhappy/unmotivated player on our hands. I'm disappointed that he wants to leave, but having done his bit for us over the last two seasons - I wish him well.
  10. I don't disagree with any of that, either. It's amazing to think that there are still fans which give the regime the benefit of the doubt after they admitted in a court of arbetration that they deliberately misled fans and the media as a 'PR Exercise'. The is still going on as a practice from the club and recent events only serve to back it up.
  11. cheers. i was relying on yourself,billytray,cp40 or gimp. No bother. I remember being at Kenny Wharton's testimonial (was either his or John Anderson's) and someone shouted 'How, Saunders - have you nicked any gloves lately?!' Made me laugh anyway. i can only remember 2 wes saunders things, one is the gloves, the other is he scorerd at colchester in the fa cup replay win. I vaguely remember the gloves story (remember my dad and his mates talking about it) Didn't he also play a bit part in the 83/84 promotion season?

  13. Yup - now Modric has handed the request in, he will now for-go any loyalty bonuses. He must be quite desperate to leave.
  14. Arsenal on the Sat night? Hope we are at the cottage in Glencoe by then - I'll be sticking the digital radio/laptop on! Looks like I'll miss the mackems game too (day we are due back) If it's on Sky, I'll have to record it.
  15. As Madras said - it's not the first time we have been used as a stalking horse when it comes to another transfer. And also - do you believe those deadline day moves of Richardson and Charlie were genuine and if not, what was their purpose?
  16. Madras - if he hadn't bought the club we would be better off today, regardless of where we were. He wouldn't be in charge for starters!
  17. How? Up there with the 'moves' for Kieran Richardson and N'Zogbia. Ashley/Llambias will have fed a line to the media to try and curry favour with fans.
  18. Great piece from TF there as always. Ashley has had to put cash into the club, but that's down to his own stupidity with firstly not doing due diligence when he bought it and also making awful decisions which culminated in our relegation. Something about the financial side of the club doesn't seem right and I don't think it'll come out until the next set of accounts are due out, which won't be for some time yet. The club is skating on ice and has been for a long time for the way it treats supporters. Many of my black and white amigos that I have spoken to view the regime with a great sense of mistrust. As ever though, the only way to stop this is to stop putting money in and this unfortunately is where the man knows he has many over a barrell.
  19. Have said it before - I would take Bendtner. More likely to be moving abroad though as has been said previously.
  20. *Relieved* Day after I'm due back from holiday, so I'll be able to watch.
  21. Hope we do loan him out this year rather than just flogging him. Not sure Peterborough would be my first choice though. Very attacking team last season. They also just lost last season's 35 goal striker, Mackail-Smith. Aye - gone to Brighton which I find a bit of a strange move for the lad, given Leicester and West Ham were supposed to be sniffing about.
  22. Which i dont get because London is an utter shitehole, even the posh parts are shite. Yup - I'd imagine it's all about their WAGS and keeping them happy.
