Can't see the football that we are playing/performances shifting many s/t's this summer and when cash is tight for most folk, it might be the deciding factor. Finishing 5th last season gave us hope that things were gonna get better, but the club has blown it. That might be a factor in him being replaced.

Questions have got to be asked. His teams lack flair, ideas and organization. Too much poor football and insipid performances. Buck has to stop with him.

Well, no complaints here with the result and the best team definitely won. Really disappointed with the lack of fight, ideas and organization from Pardew and the players. Mackems wanted it more and it was plain to see. Jonas had a nightmare at DL (why play him there) and Cabaye just never got into the game. Serious questions have gotta be asked.

Think we gave it our best shot - was just disappointing that we backed off from them for too long and showed them far too much respect. In saying that, they are a very good side. It's been a good adventure - everyone can hold their heads high. Bring on the mackems on Sunday.

Insipid first half from us is the best way I can describe it. Lacking tempo and fight. Look bereft of confidence and ideas. Very worrying.

Thought we gave it our best shot, but a lack of luck and some dodgy defending (again) cost us. Santon looks like he needs a rest - mentally shattered. We can do it next week, but it's going to be very, very tough.
