In what sense? Surely it's good new that the player is willing to fight for the move. Pardew is. He's not making the final call though. I don't think he is though, just more press bollocks. He was asked at the weekend whether it was important for the striker to have Prem experience, and he said quite catagorically that it didn't and that if we can get a good enough target from overseas, they'lll be fine. Not a hint of a suggestion he was turning his atention to Prem based players.
