  1. http://www.lepost.fr/article/2011/08/16/2569432_ligue-des-champions-ol-rubin-kazan-analyse-et-pronostic.html Hope still wells in my breast until the potential sluice gates of the official line-up is revealed.
  2. Think that may well have been the plan. Lovelypants has however refused to move to Rangers apparently. Rangers knocked back the offer from us to take him Ah, good point. That gives me some hope that he can still be shifted then.

Give us a couple of days, and I'd hope to give you a fairly definitive answer. Let me know once SSN have let you know Will do chief.

We've got loads of money to spend, got £6m for Enrique, and currently without a left back. Of course, there's absolutely no excuses. Think it was more like £5.5m, but the point still stands.

  7. talk about football fans bias , Given spent almost 12 years , always gave all his effort for the club before he left, he's a judas. Ben Arfa fuck his former club and coach and wen AWOL to join the club, he's hero Same Given who refused to play for us and handed in several transfer requests over the years when he didn't get his own way? That's the one. The guy who was happy to drop us in the shit halfway through a season to spend plenty of time counting his money on a pale blue heated bench in Manchester.

Ah, I find it impossible not to be sold on having another Dutch international at the club.
  9. True, they're still hoping he might sign a contract though, and recently turned down an offer from Leicester. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14407365.stm

Probably a case of anyone other than Raylor If he plays the way he did once he got his bearings against the Arse, I'd easily have Raylor over a just fit Furguson for the derby.
  11. Yup, will be captain after Colo goes going by his recent interview. Will be Saylor.
  12. Yup, will be captain after Colo goes going by his recent interview.
  13. 'You can't keep an unhappy player who's head has been turned.' And he'd be right. Doesn't alter my opinion that this report, just like with Colo, is complete and utter turd.
  14. That seems pretty harsh to say we simply got lucky. He's quite possibly, over 4 years, the most heavily scouted signing we've ever made.
  15. How do you know mate? He doesn't Surely he wouldn't do that. He's a good lad.
  16. The only one i can remember is Raylor's volley(?) that ended up in The Haymarket Bus Station. Cabaye should have scored iirc, seemed like a tap in at the time.
  17. Regarding this Maiga lad, no idea who he is and what he's like but some people's comments have been somewhat positive... I'm not sure what papers you read, but respected columnists like Shayno all say he's shit. Well actually, like a massive pile of shite formed into the shape of a house. Obviously I too have no idea what he's like, but I have to say, I'm very, very disappointed.
  18. Certainly showing a strong desire and determination to succeed in a league he feels more suited to. Hungry for a move to us too which is always pleasing to see.
  19. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. It would make no sense for the club to give him a name, only in order to say we turned the player down. Total non story.
  20. In what sense? Surely it's good new that the player is willing to fight for the move. In that everything seems to have gone on quietly up to now, we've apparently met him, turned his head, made a bid etc. And yet it's hit the brakes so much he's resorted to coming out to France's biggest sports paper to whinge about it. If nothing else, it may make Sochaux even more stubborn and we all know what that means. As with the Ben Arfa deal btw, everyone seems to overlook the double standards when it comes to players pushing to leave us for a bigger club (see Enrique). Well, we'll see. Going with what Shayno say's I'd be delighted if you were right. Oh, as for double standards, you seem to be missing out on the fact that all anyone cares about is the club. If a player comes here by forcing through a deal and it benefits us, then that's fantastic, if a player forces a move elsewhere, they can fuck off. This isn't the moral maze, of course there are double standards, and rightly so.
  21. A left-footed Marc Antoine-Fortune maybe? lol Perhaps a less graceful looking Ryan Babel if Liverpool played him as a striker. Oh joy.
  22. In what sense? Surely it's good new that the player is willing to fight for the move. /That said, I can't generate much enthusiasm for him, but then I know next to nothing about him tbf.
  23. Pardew is. He's not making the final call though. I don't think he is though, just more press bollocks. He was asked at the weekend whether it was important for the striker to have Prem experience, and he said quite catagorically that it didn't and that if we can get a good enough target from overseas, they'lll be fine. Not a hint of a suggestion he was turning his atention to Prem based players.
  24. Take that you players are shit, managers shit, clubs shit cunts.
