  1. Christ, just seen the goals. I know I have tried to say in the past the Celtic fans were far from universally praising the guy after last season, but you have to feel for Foster a bit. He's not as bad as he's making himself look pre-season.
  2. You reckon 3 CBs is sufficient for an entire season? I think 3 decent quality CBs like Coloccini, Taylor, and Williamson is adequate, with cover from Tavernier and Kadar. Obviously, in an ideal world we'd get someone in who was good 3rd/4th choice for CB (or someone who could cover both LB and CB), but it's not that big of a worry..... in my opinion. How often did Cambell get in the team? I expect Kadar needs the chances now rather than bringing in another player of a not disimilar quality to Perch, happy to sit on the bench for the majority of the time.
  3. Fuck. Can't believe we've missed out on Goodwillie.
  4. All 4 have reasons to be a little bitter though? One saying it should send alarm bells though, when it gets to four it simply can't be a coincidence. I mean i don't think they are going into the training ground and kicking off with each other or anything like that, but i'd put money on there being a bit of an atmosphere. I don't think even what Barton has said suggests there 'being a bit of an atmosphere'. I can't see anything coincidental in that the 4 players showing disappointment are have had contractual disagreements or are being sold (despite wanting to stay). Look none of us have any evidence, we are all just speculating, so i won't pretend to know more than you but it's just a gut feeling. I just think we have an unhappy camp atm. No problem, we'll just have to disagree which is fair enough. There have been a slew of interviews with various players on nutv that would suggest a very happy camp, though not one without the stresses of the tour etc. So overall, I just see the odd complaint as a pretty standard reaction to the uncertainty of pre-season, exaggerated by the instant opinions brought by twitter this time around.
  5. Not willing to commit to the club, leaving them to feel an increased freedom to criticise the club with impunity.

  7. Or simply the third option, he wont sign a new contract but will stick around for the final year.
  8. Bingo. Typical journo spin. Claiming major unrest? Just expressing his own disappointment again imho (echoed by the departing Routledge).
  9. Nope, think it's fair to say all of them, including Pardew etc are less than satisfied. Just can't see us finding a headline player willing to come in at this stage though sadly. Hope to feck I'm wrong mind.

Doesn't look hopeful in the near term (as already stated) from the nutv interview. Interesting which player we are after has the delusions of grandeur he talked about though. Could be Erdinc, could well describe a player in Sturriges position, or more worriyingly Defoe. What it doesn't sound like on the plus side, is your Longs or Beckfords of this world.
  11. And some fans take the findings of a tribunal, that the club was inconsistant in its portrayal of who had the final say on transfers, both in private and in public, and continually use a quote from Keegan (not the tribunal) to try and whip up anger, which I find a little unnecessary. /and before big Geordie sticks me on his list, while I do wish for the best and feel things can still move forward under this ownership, I still find them deeply unsympathetic characters who have shown a lack of understanding and enough mistakes to guarantee them a good deal of cynicism over their actions as it stands.
  12. To me it's sounds more that he himself seems as good as gone. dannysimpson12 Danny Simpson @ @Joey7Barton lets just keep our right side strong again this season! #partnership Joey7Barton Joseph Barton @ @dannysimpson12 that's it mate, don't worry we'll keep are side of the street clean Nope, still sounds as if he's on about Enrique.
  13. What's with the face palm? Something positive sticking in your craw?
  14. Get your wallet out Mike ffs.
  15. Can't see why you'd be proud of being unnecassarily offensive like.
  16. NUFCAaron7 NUFCAARON @ @LeeRobson23 @predemption @dannysimpson12 If Danny didnt constantly back away from attackers he would be a decent RB. @dannysimpson12 Danny Simpson @NUFCAaron7 number 1 rule, don't dive in! Ha, fair enough. How about a happy medium.
  17. Retweeted by Routledge. It's a revolution! /Actually Wayne, it won't be long now until you can speak out without getting a fine. Fill yer boots.
  18. Just my reading of it, but it seem's he's actually hinting that Enrique's gone now.
  19. You know what, I'd stick money on the fact that none of the above were telling the whole truth, there will be spin and/or personal opinion invovled in everything anyone says when it is released into the public domain. /and goes without saying that includes stuff from the club

You what? As it stands, it'd not be that hard to argue that the clubs was in worse position when he took over, so I'm not sure where your great dread is welling up from.
  21. It would have to be unbelievably stringent to ask any prospective player whether he had any outstanding dental bills ffs. As for Tiote, let's wait until we know whats happend before demanding people lose their jobs, eh.
