Polygon are a hedge fund (IIRC), but when they were looking at the toon before i dont think they had a heavy backer like UBS. If reports are true, they've wiped off £87m worth of debt when buying the club, so even if they fail, we've just been given £87m plus whatever they allow GR to spend in the winter window, and there after. Just got back from the pub and we did rather well. 1-0, i would of taken before kick-off, 1-0 with 20mins or so to go, bastid, but the result was probably fair, just. Soon after Zoggy came off, we stopped attacking, fuking shame, hope the lad is ok, last thing we need. But it fills me with confidence for our next 3 games at home, i think we could easily win all three. Chelsea will field the same kind of weakened team and i know at home we could take advantage. Decent game, we did well, nothing special, but what did you expect?

IF we could get Bent for around £7m there is no way we should be going for Crouch. Bent for £7m is still too much. A good player, but not worth the hype surrounding him. We need a leftback, and then a rightback, after that, anything else is a bonus. I say we spend decent on these two positions, £5m each. Get players who are not only consistant and can handle pressure, but are not injury prone, then maybe we can form a backline before the season is out. If we did that i'd be happy. Loan signing upfront would be nice to replace Rossi, someone with experience this time though, someone we can rely on instead of blooding.

We should also complain about one or two of their challenges. Would be great; the cunt goes in to clear Henchoz, comes out with a 3 game ban for him, and bans for the challenges on Emre & Zoggy.

I would hope TT's not doubting your right to raise this without having officially reported it, this is discussion forum after all. Ideally you (or someone who witnessed it) would have made a complaint though, I would think that would be the best way to get some proper action taken. I can understand his need to get evidence though, this is the internet. Sure he wasn't trying to accuse you of making it up. OK, peacemaking over! This about sums it up. I dont like to think we've a racist element to us, i hate the idea, but im not going to take a storey like this for gospel without proof. I don't know the OP, for all i know he could be a mackem WUM. The youtube video proved him right, and now am of the opinion something needs to be done about this, more than just talk about it on a NUFC forum. Fair enough. At the time of making the original post though I knew nothing about the youtube clip, so essentially all I had was my word. All i had was your word, and for me it wasn't enough. Don't feel offended by that, its just the internet isnt a place i trust. Now, back to business, i still think you should complain. The club will take it seriously imo, and i think everyone would give you backing for doing it. But really it has to be you, or someone who was there. I'd play Hunty and RB. Taylor & Ramage both started there, best place to blood a CB imo, less pressure and responsibility, starting him in the centre is asking for a thrashing.
