    Youth team fans?

Actually wouldn't mind a bit more info on Andrew Carroll, his height especially intrigues me. tommorw hopefully i will give u some basic info about the people i saw playing.. Really would like to know where our youth team is going, and if its working. Simply as we cannot buy the right players, and im pinning hopes on some talent coming through.

Its unreal how small footballers are. Niall Quinn is the only football player who i've met who's bigger than me, the guy looks huge tbh.
  7. Is there someone out there who can give a decently in depth review of our youth team? Just a paragraph for each player, and how far you believe the player will go with us, or move on? I know this would take some time, maybe 30mins or so, so I'd really appreciate it if someone can do it. I would ask someone direct, but haven't a clue who goes regularly. Cheers.

    £100m

£14m on a defensive partnership not that much (if at all) better than what we have?! Your opinion, shared by you and a peanut.
  9. Who had heard of ntl before they came to Newcastle? Now everyone knows Belgravia, Polygon, Gillett — you name them, they have been linked with Newcastle. It is a great way to get your name out there.” He actually make at good point there for a change.

Krul R. Taylor S. Taylor Ferdinand M. Taylor Milner Parker Emre Duff Bent Owen Not being funny, but £100m and you'd still want to see Parker and Emre in the middle? bluelaugh.gif Sorry, mate. Honest. That's me off for a can. Jesus christ cant you read, he was talking about a canny bench, i put up the other players, surely even you can see that? Or do you think i'd start Krul over Given, which would of been the most obvious thing to have a go at.   You might, like. Okaaay... eekout.gif

Am sure he's bothered about that Second time I have done it in the last couple of weeks I think, £16m and I can't even remember the bugger bluesigh.gif bluesigh.gif 10 games in your 1st two seasons at a new club will do that to you. Although just check our bank balance and you'd soon remember we signed him. Not his fault i know, but FFS, its something i'd actually rather forget about tbh.

You would buy 30 defenders? :winking: We'd have them all injured by Christmas, maybe we should go for 40 just in case.

Aye, it's good this internet thing. I used to write this kind of stuff down on paper and dream about us being better back when I was 12. :winking: Its threads like this that keep me young at heart. You should give it a go! With a real £100m I'd actually use some of it to make a financial offer to Wenger to take over as manager that he wouldn't be able to refuse. I'd give him a free hand at rebuilding the team with the rest, selling anyone he likes in the process. Well, there's still £9m left on my budget, am sure he'd move for £9m signing fee, plus the chance to work with the squad i've just built. To attract Wenger, id would have to be something special, give the man some bait, he likes his young-uns.

Would buy a more experienced CB rather than Ferdinand (Ayala?) and a couple of squad full backs. There's still about £24m left over. Another LB & RB is a must (Matty Taylor & Ryan Taylor), maybe bring Woodgate in for £4-5m then i'd be happy with the remainder of the team blending with that (Given, Harper, Krul, Taylor, Ramage, Hunty, Duff, Zoggy, Emre, Parker, #Milner, Martins, Owen) those not listed i'd sell.

Micah Richards - £11m Curtis Davies - £6m Anton Ferdinand - £8m Leighton Baines - £6.5m Wright-Phillips - £9m Owen Hargreaves - £10m Joey Barton - £6m Dean Ashton - £11m Darren Bent - £8m PS: I had to do it, thoughts like this keep me going (and am currently having a sesh on FM07)
  20. Pardon? Being a factory worker means your less of a person than yourself and others? Hardly. Grow up ffs. Don't be shallow like me. I am im 13 now. Im excercising the point all the racist f*cks are working class people who are jealous of Asians and Blacks getting better jobs. In this case black footballers. Asians are more racist than your average white person, not just exclusively against whites, mainly against each other.
  21. Oh, and yes, if he used a comma (,) instead of a fullstop (.) then yes you'd have a point, suggesting otherwise is a bit silly. Boring, tbh. Aren't you tbh.

  23. So all these were about Huntington. But just another Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor. (comment about hunty) GAve the ball away one to many times. (comment about hunty) But we'll wait and see." (comment about hunty) But this one was about Taylor. Big Tackler but lack of composure on the ball. Bullshit tbh.

    Today's Games

two great goals from Chelsea to pull this round.
  25. He seems like a blatant WUM to me, cant think how anyone would have any other opinion tbh. "Expected alot from this young lad. But just another Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor. Big Tackler but lack of composure on the ball. GAve the ball away one to many times. But we'll wait and see." He's played twice, expectations ruined after 180mins of watching him live. If he becomes another Steven Taylor then were laughing FFS. Defenders aren't known for their composure on the ball, more to do with their positioning off it. Most players come though out of position, especially CBs. Taylor & Ramage did here, Bramble did at Ipswich, Carragher did at Liverpool for years! Then he has a crack at Given FFS, this guy is a WUM, or fuking stupid. Wum? Think so. "But we'll wait and see" indicates that he's not a WUM and that he's simply putting his first impression across and is showing a willingness to keep an open mind and see if he's proved right or wrong. WUM-like behaviour? Erm, no. He then puts across a point about Shay's distribution. Which IS poor. It's NOT a lie or any kind of bullshit. He even makes a point in saying that it's the only flaw in his game. WUM-like behaviour? No, just an opinion he has. Certainly a WUM, and has done a good job on you thinking he isn't one, or your doing a good job Wummin' the mods to death in this thread Yet you can't point out any of the attributes that make him a WUM and have pointed out things that are actually just a difference in opinion. Its just a difference of opinion that you dont see him as a wum, and the rest of the board do. I've pointed out why i think he is, especially the Taylor comment, its just plain stupid. His Taylor comment that he lacks composure on the ball? That's an attribute that all good defenders should have. Quite a fair comment I feel. But because you disagree, he's a WUM? His comment about composure came in a total different sentence, didn't you see the . ? That means another sentence has started, thats how i read it anyway. He implied Hunty would only ever become as good as Taylor, which is a fuking daft comment since Taylor is the best defender we've had in the EPL apart from Woodgate and he's only a nipper himself. So he isn't allowed to elaborate on his point using more than one sentence? Once there's a full stop we shouldn't read any further and only take into account that single sentence? Erm...? Yet it's his opinion that Taylor isn't good enough? Which, at current ability level and with his inconsistancy, he isn't for a team that wants to be in the top 4. So anybody that suggests Taylor isn't good enough is a WUM? You don't feel that he could genuinely hold that opinion? Edit: In fact, going back and reading what he said, the only thing he knocks taylor for is his composure! Oh he must be a WUM to suggest that Taylor lacks composure What the fuk are you on about now? Its seperate statments of his opinions about Hunty, not Taylor, one of them being Hunty could only be as good as Taylor. So he's only knocking Taylor about composure, yet he goes on about giving the ball away as well. Where does it end then? Usually at the end of a fuking sentence, fuking hell man. So is he talking about Taylor still, or hunty, or both? I really dont care tbh, and cant be bothered going round in circles about a Wum with a Wum tbh. What the fuck are you on about sentences for? He says he'll just be another Taylor, a big tackler but little composure. I don't care how he grammatically structures it, thats what his point is! It's clear that you feel that Taylor is expempt from any sort of constructive critisism and that anybody who does say something negative about him is a WUM. he'll just be another Taylor, a big tackler but little composure Wrong. But just another Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor. Big Tackler but lack of composure on the ball. This makes it clearer: "Expected alot from this young lad. But just another Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor. (comment about hunty) Big Tackler but lack of composure on the ball. (comment about hunty) GAve the ball away one to many times. (comment about hunty) But we'll wait and see." (comment about hunty) Two sentences not one, meaning he wasn't saying it like you read, but more like how i read it. So back to my point, the kid is either a wum, or fuking stupid. End of point, end of discussion.
