I symphatise with David Jones. But I always think that if a squad is small, then only the manager is to be blamed. You are probably right to say that he is in the same ball park as GR. Let's give GR a bit more time to see if we can steer the club forward. The small squad again really isn't his fault. Tight owner to blame for that. DJ went for quality over quantity, but in the Championship to stay at the top you need both. 4-5 decent signings in the window (maybe 2-3 loan), and promotion is a realistic possibility for the club. The club having 20 odds days before it ceases trading unless Ridsdale & Hamman can come to an agreement is not doing the club any favours, must be a right fuking nightmare given your all for a club so uncertain of its future, DJ has to motivate himself, then his players and try and keep the fans happy. Tough job he's doing at the mo. Still no better than what we've got though.

David Jones manages Cardiff. He somehow managed to throw away consiradable lead in Championship though, and his team has slipped to 4th or 5th now. He is a good safe bet for any team wanting to advance into Premiership and he wouldn't be good enough for the high expectations of Newcastle United. Not his fault tbh. Squad done in by injuries, and Cardiff have an even smaller squad than us, the coupled with the club on the verge of closure means it hasn't been easy for him at the moment, but i don't think he'd be good enough here, and would be in the same ballpark as GR.

We should of brought in better, soft option, we took it. Would of rather had MON he is a different class to GR and we should of at the time made sure we made him our manager. Feeling a little more confident in GR at the moment, hopefully things will keep improving but i'd dump him as soon as a decent manager becomes available and wants the job, not just taking it for the coin.

Better the Devil you know? Not so sure. Real businessmen could turn take this club to the next level. That isn't my point. Possibly better the devil you know, possibly not. How could anyone really say that Belgravia would be better than Polygon or vice-versa? How could they possibly know? From what they've heard so far, and how things have developed between parties and the club. Some people have problems with hedge funds etc, some dont, some like the idea of being backed by a bank, some dont like the idea of a faceless company owning the club. Fans can still have an opinion about potential buyers even if they dont know fully what the buyer is about, and again another good reason why am asking. Every single person so far has voted for change, yet like me not sure what kind of change they are about to let themselves in for, but we all know its needed, and its about time the fans found out about the potential buyers imo, including me.

Which dick voted for full Fat man ownership? Come on own up mackem.

Polygon have a dodgy past if were to believe, and UBS are supposed to not be 100% convinced about doing this, which is my problem with them. They seem to have the most financial muscle and that's why i went for them, but how much of that would we see? Belgravia are really looking towards the casino, in fact so much so that seems to be more of a focus than the club, but apparently these lots are the only lot to make a formal bid so far. As for Gillet, were second best, and although i dont know much about the guy, he's been bankrupt before IIRC, and ended up taking millions out of his companies to start other adventures. I doubt this one will go any further, although i think he maybe back in for Liverpool as the other bid for them has fallen short again.

Which takeover is the one your hoping for, or would like most? I know we'd all like Bill Gates or some insanely rich Arab buying us as his play toy, but that isn't in the pipeline, however the bids above are, and i'm wondering which way the fans are swayed? So is Polygon backed by UBS the one for you, or Belgravia and their Casino deal hopes for us a better option? Maybe you need sectioned and think Fat Man scoop should take full charge, you decide.

Less mistakes than O'Brien for starters.

Thank fuck If you have Geordie blood in you, you're an adopted Geordie and therefore welcome on wor board at any time, unless you support fuckin Tottenham. As for MJ: Couldn't just leave without bringing attention to yourself.

Fuking farce all round. I could of done a better job on the shitter this morning nevermind over 9months in the making.

Certainly was...................even if he did wear a shredded Zebra around his neck. Love to see him back at the club in some capacity, maybe nearer board level than pitch (getting on, doesn't need to be running about the gaff anymore)

I agree with most of that. Harper gets a B- though, he did well in his spell after his slip up.

Fuking Stelios? http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=436843&CPID=8&clid=4&lid=&title=Stelios+rues+his+luck He's old and shit, can't get in the Bolton team and were going to bid £2m for him? I'd personally lamp GR if he makes a bid for him and wastes money on a right winger, nevermind a shit old one. Fuck off, this better be paper talk bollocks.

We are shit at SP's, every single kind imo. (anything that could be sort of classed as one, were crap at) Throw-ins. Goal kicks. Long throws from goal. Corners Defending corners. Attacking free kicks Defending free kicks Pens I'm actually surprised we can kick off properly tbh.

I take that's aimed at me since i was the one that said it, and if your tarring me with the rest of your comments then you are sadly mistaken. I do agree with some of what you say, but im 25, most of my match days were from the age of 8-16, in the last few years i've seriously tailed off, due to price, and the dead SJP its has become. But in that time, i've never heard racist comments shouted at SJP, especially to our own players FFS. Twice in as many days we've had stories about our fans being racist to our own players, 3 times in just over a week if you count the 'town full of pakis' we've had racist remarks. This is worrying, and i stand by what i've said, this is not the club i love, these are not the fan i remember going to the match with, and is another reason i wont be spending my low income based money on a match ticket in the near future. Maybe when Freddy has gone i will want to start putting my money back into the club, maybe. Agree, and weve had a few racist chants at Anfield in the last month, somthing that hasnt happened for years, but go back to the 80s (for us, it was before barnes played) and it was rife. I remember when we played west brom about 8 games in and they were top of the league, with cyril regis and a few other black players. When the teams ran out the whole kop were singing the song of the coco pops advert. Funny at the time, but your look back now, and its unreal. Not saying i want to go back to them days, far from it, but just pointing out most of these new fans havent got a clue what going the match used to be like. I know, i don't have that much of a clue (not compared to the older generation), but i was brought into football in between that era and the politically correct one now. 1989 was about the time of my 1st match, but i doubt i would of even recognised a racist chant at that age. It probably was going on tbh, i just wouldn't of had a clue for at least 3-4 years later, but by then i'd imaging Sky was in, so was New Labour and the new way of thinking in the UK was in full swing. The older passionate fans do carry violence & racism with them. You can find them in any pub with a dodgy Arab channel every match-day shouting racist obscenities towards the TV as the signal breaks up again when were on the attack. This is where they belong tbh. Priced out dinosaurs dying there own death, a last few breaths of vulgarity before they pop there clogs smoking fake ciggys and downing several pints while praying their domino card comes in before they depart. Now its unfortunate if i want to watch a match that isnt on Sky i'll end up in a place like this, but im in their second home, and i usually have to take it tbh. They know am just there for the match, i feel there eyeballs burning the back of my neck when i go get a refill, but fuk em, football will be better off without these souls as well. The brillcream boys you mention at the match can go jump, so can the camera flashing tourists, and most certainly the groups of women who've destroyed SJP. If you want an atmosphere these days, go away, the real fans always make the trips, and are usually 90% spot on, another reason why i was shocked to hear more racist chanting with them at Blackburn. But it was only a couple, hopefully they weren't the regs that go, now that would be a shame, as where now do you find the Loyal, passionate, respectful and educated football fan?

I think he plays this for his warm-up music (Kylie Minogue) I'm spinning around Move out of my way I know you're feelin' me 'cause you like it like this I'm breakin' it down I'm not the same I know you're feelin' me 'cause you like it like this I'm through with the pass Ain't no point in looking back The future will be And did I forget to mention that I found a new direction And it leads back to me? I'm spinning around Move out of my way I know you're feelin' me 'cause you like it like this I'm breakin' it down I'm not the same I know you're feelin' me 'cause you like it like this The mistakes I've made, have given me the strength To really believe that no matter how i take it There's no way i'm gonna fake it 'cuz it's gotta be real

Its class when some gobby prick starts shouting out something nobody within 20 seats agree with and everyone behind him rolls their eyes and looks at each other in amusement. I miss that about match day, nowt much else mind.
