Upson will hand in his transfer request as soon as a bid from an EPL club is rejected. He'll half-arse play out his remainder and until the Brum with have to pay £40kpw, while having a defender at 70% and losing out on the £3m they could get for him now. All that to try and save face, and its this reason Birmingham are back in the Championship, as they have a thick as fuk manager who cuts his huge honker off to spite his big fat face.

Arsenal always try to get height in there somewhere, Kanu, Adebayor currently, and the tall guy currently on loan to the brums (future height). Wenger sees height as important maybe not as important as most, but he does also have the luxury of having one of the most fluent ground attacks the modern game has ever seen. We don't, and we need height to be less predictable.

I don't believe height is strictly essential, Dyer and Martins seem to work well together, aslong as we play more "football" and less "puntball" we should be alright. 1 dimensional attacking. No aerial threat makes ground play more predictable. We do not need this guy.

You do realise that Roeder now has his Pro Licence. He did it over the summer. No he doesn't. It takes twelve months and he started it in the summer. Prick. No. He started it before he went down with the brain tumour and he finished it over the summer. I dont think he did. He re-applied to take it again (pick up where he left off) and what he needs to do is have from that day 12months in a coaching job (where you have a certain amount of control & effect over the team) Then you have to be assessed for one day including a series of tests, then he'll be fully qualified. Now i might be wrong, but am sure that's how it happened.

No one think it could be to do with his stomach injury? Maybe kicking with his right pulls a little too much.

Can't believe people actually had a go at Taylor for it as well. Sort yourself out Glen you plum.
-
JR's knowledge on the North East should be outstanding why? But your right.

Taylor did really well. A string of recent good performances from the lad. Really what i like to see, glad he's back to his almost best. Just need to cut out the silly shit, anything else i can forgive due to age

What? You can suggest that Luque was the most hardworking player on the pitch. How could I rebut, without using video replay, if you insist so? All irrelevant. The real question of the night is: Was the Bill on and what happened? Boro fans answer on a postcard.

Someone must have this, please.

Does he? Ipswich a division lower have said they'd take him but I'm totally unaware of anyone else showing their hand. Man City. Maybe we can swap him for Distin plus cash. First I've heard and frankly wouldn't believe it. Where did you hear/read that? SSN's (might of just been the WWW though) We got £2m for O'Brien, get Titus signed up, and we'd get more than the £500k in the window people are talking about. I know not club quotes but the term brand is used around the globe http://www.cnn.com/2006/SPORT/football/11/27/world.brands.reut/index.html?section=cnn_latest Evening times, and other sources all call clubs as Brands, stock markets and business people again refer to them as brands, tbh, this just shows the people that are looking at us as highly trained business men, (rightly or wrongly) i find that comforting.

Just dying for change, at least it wont be misguided and a plan will be there somewhere. I could quite happily wait patiently under a new regime, i've ran out of that stuff with this one. Just noticed how many news sources are running the same story today, hopefully the ball is picking up pace.

I have no problem with it at all. Im sure someone at Chelsea keeps saying the same thing about them, and IIRC someone at Barca or Madrid coming out with it as well not so long ago. Football is a business, about time we become professional.

Don't know if its been said already but Pearson looks like a man not to be messed with. Maybe Mr soft needs a enforcer next to him to get the message across. Shearer instantly would command respect due to his ties, and not being too soft himself, Bond looked like a 5year old would give him a kicking, and GR would run away and hide until it was all over. Don't know of Pearson's career as a player, so he could have been a softy too, but that big old head of his looks hard to knock off.

Enough punishment, will be driving him mad knowing he's flopping, which he is. Pool fans are already unsure, and the Rafa rotation will mean he will find it difficult to get into his stride. I'm sure he'll pick up somewhere in the season, right before a big injury which will keep him out for a few month. Its the Bellamy cycle, i doubt its going to change now.

Liverpool? A takeover has been happening for about 3 years now including USA businessmen, internal takeovers & even Prime Ministers of an Asian Country have been strongly linked with a buyout. Aye, forgot about that one. However, if you look at how many have gone through......... Chelsea Man Utd Pompey West Ham Villa Sunderland True, most if not all but this one go through. Leeds, Leicester (currently & probably will) & other smaller takeovers have all gone through. Goods signs, especially when there's not just one party interested.

Shepherd has nothing like the sort of money to buy NUFC outright. Not gonna happen. FS is just looking for the final big payoff. He once said he'd never leave until we won something, but with Chelsea around, that's become near enough impossible (well it limits the options, and the others fight to the death for the lesser cups) Like you say, he doesn't have the money, and he's getting on. I wonder if his wifes ill health (whatever it was) might push him to get out and retire. Why live round this dreary place when you could go live in some of the best places in the world, and see out your days there? Its time for him to move on, he's a stubborn cunt, but he'll crack, especially if the right money is flashed, because as much as he is stubborn, he's equally as greedy.
