It's all coming up Sunderland.
-
Just go for Joško Gvardiol and that's me buying one less left footed CB on my NUFC FM save.

England 1 Germany 0

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59548308 Bellingham in a bit of bother. Police have been involved as well. Ridiculous. Hopefully he fucks off Germany and comes back to England to play for NUFC.

1st time i've had SSN's on for years, see this lad talking some decent sense on defending and having high praise for Jamal Lewis. Trying to figure out who it was and it's Stephen Warnock. Also found this on him: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/exclusive-stephen-warnock-liverpool-england-24805177 Poor bloke. Imagine a fair few footballers feel that drop off after their career ends, but also a marriage to add to it is certainly a stresser.

Aye. Total mess like and I doubt any of it would stand up in court as well. This lot will only be delayed, they won't be stopped. At some point everyone against gets sick of it and by then it'll be too big to derail.
-
Christ, no wonder they believe they can get away with owt they like. When does the current pause run out? Guess all this movement suggests it has or is close and no vote is intended to stop it again.

Think you'll be disappointed soon enough. Stadium renaming could bring in a huge amount of money, especially due to the uproar it caused last time. They could say its worth £50m a year to the fans, otherwise they'd never accept it and would have a negative reaction to the sponsorship. Say £5m a year, no one is going to accept it. £50m direct on a player? Aye go on then. Sorry like but soul is sold now, lets just accept it and move on up.
-
Possibly. But if that was the case the PL could accept what they want as long as all deals current and previous are put through the same testing. They'd soon shut up when 80% of the PL fail FFP.
-
PL are going to block every opportunity they can for us to get money in to the club. We'll have to accept things like Stadium branding etc are fair game whilst we recover & repair. Ideally this wouldn't happen, ideally KSA wouldn't be involved, ideally we'd have squeaky clean owners. The ideal rarely exists and certainly doesn't in football.

He only has access to the interest the trust fund generates, not the actual trust fund. It's also split between siblings. Think they'll still be scratting around for mainly frees & loans for some time yet.
-
One represents the club being driven in to the ground as a low rent sponsorship vehicle, the other new beginnings of wanting to be competitive again.
-
They should sell them to one of those anger rooms where you smash the shit out of things. Make a fortune.
-
Hence the safety wink. Mind Madrid was a short spell. Just a clash of footballing cultures and he was never going to change. Again though, why bother when you don't fit the clubs philosophy?
-
Yet here he is doing a worse job than fat Sam at the same club. They'll also be likely candidates for the same roles which come up in the league.
-
Managed England though. You get in to 5 clubs territory you are one of the merry-go-round managers, like it or not. Jose is one of them as well. Hasn't had much success of late. Probably next everton manager.
-
It's never going to get back up there now though is it? All he has left is bottom of the PL barrel after this goes tits up unless he leaves the country but he took this job as he wanted to be closer to his family. I can't see him doing another China now.
-
Is he going to manage at that level again?
-
Paelladyce as they everton fans call him. If he doesn't get this job right, which looks the likely outcome then where does his career go form here? If he wants to stay in England which is why he took the everton job on then is he going to get bigger than everton? So it's teams needing a quick fix to stay up etc...which is why I likened him to fat Sam. Next English role will see him managed a quarter of the league. That's proper pfm merry-go-round stuff we take this piss out of Hughes, moyes, fat Sam etc...for.
-
No dislike here, just a different opinion on how he's gone on since leaving. I've said I'd have had him here before Howe arrived, in fact after Emery rejection he was my no1 but to think he ever stood a chance in the everton job shows a real character flaw, however you want to frame it. For me it's ego. He really thought his ability outweighs evertons hate of everything red, it was a silly move as was China but for very different reasons.
-
Don't know why anyone would want Everton with or without Rafa to succeed. Such a horrible bitter club and their scouse mackem tag suits them well. Rafa is getting exactly what he deserves by going there. No loyalty to counter his massive ego to stop him taking the job. Imagine after this he rocked up at Sunderland, you still want him to do well then? He's completely fucked up his career since leaving us. He'll never manager above the level he's at now and will be looking at lower end prem clubs if he wants to stay comfortable in England. He really is a Spanish Alladyce from this point on going from average club to club picking up sack windfalls to booster his retirement pot.
-
Any small signs of ambition and regrowth will cut deep. If we stay up, they remain in L1 then next summer will be living hell for them.
-
Said before the move Gerrard was a good manager, so nothing has changed in that respect, but do agree with @ManDoon that this is more about his character coming in and motivating the fuck out of the players than his ability elsewhere. It will tail off and we’ll see what he’s made out of when shit goes against him. I still expect him to stand up to it and do a good job overall.
-
Just shows how badly they have been mismanaged. You must be loving that even with cash your local rivals amount to nothingness.
