Obviously 18 months wasn’t a long enough stress test. Good job the fans didn’t suffer in that time of the club now facing relegation due to the limbo it caused.

My son has just found out my great uncle is on the war memorial at the rememberance garden at SJP as he died during the war as an ex player. I knew of him and but didn't know he was there. Going to have to take a trip up and get a picture of it. Nice little family moment that, properly made my dad's day as well that the boy found out about it. ?

It's possible. My bet is he'll attempt at getting the club up a few times before selling it either in league one or championship. He doesn't seem as emotionally stunted as the other two chancers and I think he can stand off and allow the shite to come his way if things go against while taking another season to adjust and try again. He's not going to throw money at this. He'll do it within their means then use his contacts to make them a feeder club for a French outfit which will give them some decent loans in return if and once they make the championship, but I do think that's their ceiling with him and it's a long way off that.

Steve Bruce more likely to get the job than Zidane & Ten Hag according to the bookies Please happen. It's what all those manu scumbag pundits like Rio deserve.

His dad died in 2009. His mother inherited most of it, split with his sisters. She has 5 kids and I guess money is split between them but she's not going to give him unlimited funds to lose on a league one outfit. It's all guestimates on his total wealth since its in a trust fund, but 9bn became 6bn after the sisters took their share and the mother has 5 kids. If she was feeling generous it's 1bn each. I doubt she's in the mood to lessen her wealth whilst alive so I'd imagine the trust fund figure of 2bn is actually for all the kids not just him or he's managed to get more than all the others. So you're probably talking around 400m in personally wealth but trust fund suggests limited access and why you'll probably find he'll only spend small amounts as it will be decent money to him right now.

Love that. Giving himself extra homework to make this work. Ah fuck, little bit of feel good for nufc kicked in there in the back of my head. Need to cut that out or it'll turn in to a nasty habit.

Na he was class under Rafa. But now he's in his mid 20s I can't see him doing much with his career. He'd be very lucky to get another contract here but equally stupid to accept it. He needs to start again in tge championship but Im not sure his ego would allow him to take a step down (not a critisism, genuinely think it would be hard to accept in his position) If I were a promoted team coming up I wouldn't start him. He really is in limbo and time is running out on his career.

We used to applaud a former player in the opposition line up then boo them straight after. Talking about the returns of Ferdinand & Ginola ago.
-
Fans boo ex player at game in which he scores and celebrates shocker. Think he had some good words to say about us after the game. Least he understands it's just part of the show, just like him kissing the badge after celebrating. Good luck to him. Another one who got away under Rafa.

Zidane has turned down manu.

Whatever happens next, lets make this the last Relegation Thread. Ever

Let's buy Phillips.

Spirited loss
-
(Currently) Double our points and we're still in the relegation zone. That's canny dire.

If anything, manu have been overachieving as a club for the last few years. It’s quite sad they’d hound one of their own out after doing such a special job. Luckily they’ve got the likes of Rio Ferdinand ready to step up with his own money to rescue these long suffering fans from their nightmare.
-
Just give it to Cronaldo till the end of the season. Seems to be in charge of the club in all aspects anyway.
-
Good shout but don't think Ritchie is going anywhere with Howe trusting him. If anything He'd put Ritchie in for Lewis and Almiron in and Lewis missing out.
-
Will he go 4 at the back? Thought 3 at the back yesterday left loads of space on the flanks for them to get in to. I'd ditch it but not sure he will. Dubs Manq Schar Fern Lewis Shelvey Willock Ritchie Joe ASM Wilson I'd play Ritchie in mid where he can protect Lewis. You can't play Lewis with just ASM infront of him, he'd be destroyed, but we do need to get him involved and up to speed.
-
Knew he came on but didn't see him do anything. Seemed a waste of a sub.
-
Ms be not Howe but it seems the board are one step ahead and looking for an upgrade. If Dubs is still on the bench next year and it's not darlow keeping him out I'll be happy.
-
Felt like a loss at the FT time whistle as we deserved more but all I've done is message and talk about the game since then and it feels like a win. Almost forgot there we dropped 2 pts.
-
Him & Joe were my MotM and they were also our best defenders.
-
Missed that noise. Christ it felt good.

Absolutely not bothered either way. We go down I've more chance of getting a season ticket so happy either way. Today I rekindled a little bit of my love for the club. Didn't know my blackened heart cared anymore.
