What is this club doing to me If it is a straight up 3 year deal then the takeover is off or so far away/uncertain then don't expect it to happen in the next couple of years. It also means so many fans walk away or further distance themselves, me included. Finally it ends up in relegation. either this season or next and it won't be pretty. You just know the season we go down the mackems come up and it will add to even further embarrassment when they turn us over. Rafa didn't want him and tbh, couldn't handle him. He doesn't have the man management skills it takes to look after him. Neither does Bruce but Bruce allows him to say and do what he wants as he knows he wins him games. Rafa simply wouldn't put up with it and it'll start with little things then escalate. Rafa would be too stubborn to back down whereas we know Bruce has no spine. Rafa has enough on his plate winning over the fans, he could do without any further potential issues. This is pretty much why Rafa rejected him. He always talked about a certain character that he wanted, ASM isn't it. Lazy journalism to link him to Rafa's Everton, however if Bruce gets 3 more years it shows the club is going nowhere and he'll be well within his right to request a transfer and leave. With Ashley just thinking of £££ its only a matter of time before a club offers enough for us to move him on.

It's a mad old long shot, but it's about the only glimmer of hope left. Thankfully I'm numb again after a complete internal rage over the delay. It's much easier this way.

Very surprised Ashley hasn't gone 2 feet in to the PL after yesterdays announcement. Is it that this is what they wanted for reasons such as the other case has more chance or is he pissed at his own legal team for letting him down. If PIF haven't disclosed something again he needs to cancel the takeover and invite other offers as it'll never pass if they aren't playing ball.
