Could be in now. Might not leave till after our game, but it'll go 2 ways. Either he wants to show off and get that move, or wants to protect himself against any injury which would see him miss out. If bids or interest is already live, then it'll be the latter.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

There will always bit a limit, but ever increasing as our low income seasons drop off. I do think we need a good couple of sales next season regardless. Hopefully almiron, Murphy, maybe wilson as he's always injured.

I have a funny feeling he sees the rest of this season out in the Premier league.

De Gea on a free, Phillips on loan and Minteh recalled would be the cheapest way to inject life back into our season. Really, no excuses not to get at least that done. I don't really want to bring minteh back, especially if he's off to acon anyway, but if money is tight and we don't want to commit, then something needs doing.

It's all about next season for these. Get some form, settle the new manager in and don't sell anyone and they'll be in a good position via the playoffs. The 3 teams that drop this season will be the 3 who came up and although decent for that division, probably not stand out. Anyone wanting promotion this season needs Ipswich to drop out of the automatics. You're not going up with Leeds & Southampton sitting in the playoff positions. Unfortunately I think they will as well, with Southampton taking their place. So maybe a glimmer of hope.

Isn't he their current no1? Coutious injury and kepa being shite.

Fuck FFP. Break it enough times and it doesn't matter Make a right mess and tie them up in knots, then challenge it in court.

    Fabian Schär

100% his fault. He ran into the box when there was no need. Usually his runs go to the edge, then be in an area to assist on any counter. That run took him out of the game and that goal out of Europe.

£7.5m was the Phillips loan fee before the season started. You'd think it would be lower for half a season. Mind, we are desperate and need bodies in ASAP.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Phillips & Ramsdale loans would go some way to getting us back on course. Put the big money into a CB or right winger. Minteh might have to come back, if so, then a £30-40m long term partner for Botman would do us wonders.
  11. Villa are great this season. Can see why we wanted emery so badly. If I were the Dyson cunt, I 'd get throwing everything at Emery & their keeper.
  12. I think there's a lot of people on here not wanting to show how much this means, like. Protectionism. I'm usually a protectionist (safety bets etc..) but hoying my nads on the chopping block to say, that if we lose, it would be the worst result in my time supporting the club.
  13. I agree to an extent. Winning doesn't mean that much, it's the losing.
  14. Fair enough, I just cannot for the life of me accept it. I'll hate every fucker on that pitch until the leave as well.
  15. I wish I didn't feel like that. Be a lot easier. But fucking hell, I just cannot take another defeat, not when I'm starting to care again. If he lost it, does he get a pass for you, or does he lose his reserve, need to win you back round?
  16. I shouldn't have said he's failed, I'm sorry. That's emotion talking. He's not winning this though right now, and throwing the players under the bus is failing talk. Maybe that has clouded my judgement a bit (plus beers) He's got my support, plus criticism at things I feel are wrong. Sunderland game is too much though. I wish it never came about.
  17. You can love your lass more than life itself, but if she cheats on you then its over. That's my position on the Sunderland game. I really hope on life itself she doesn't cheat.
  18. I've been through it, you can go back and check.
  19. Well it is, it's unacceptable to be beaten by them. He can't complain if he walks on the back of a defeat. It would be the worst result in the clubs history when talking about derbies. You may be happy carrying that forever, I'm fucking not.
  20. I'm not allowed to say he's failing when he is? That's pretty much your argument, isn't it? Don't say a bad word. It won't be tolerated. That's fine, but that's blind support, which if that's who you are then I'm happy you are happy. You think i'm critical of him? I'm critical of everything in life, I wish I was different, save me a lot of inner turmoil.
  21. I'm not saying he should listen to me. Just that my opinions aren't that far fetched. On here though, it's either black or white, you aren't allowed grey. Its weird AF, always been the same.
  22. I support him, bar a Sunderland loss, i'll take top ten this season and go again next season. Is that not a low enough bar like for our best ever manager in 20 years?
  23. Or I've kept it the same and read the warning signs when people refused to. People cannot handle that on here, must be right at all costs, so try to belittle me like you're doing now. I'm used to it, couldn't give a shit, tbh. Had Eddie addressed my concerns several weeks ago we wouldn't be in this position. Always felt this was a test for him. Throwing the players under the bus at this stage when he's ran them into the ground is poor from him. 1st time I've actually thought he may not get through this. All I've said all along is if he loses against Sunderland, then he should go. I've never wanted him to, I've always wanted him to pull through and thought it wouldn't happen. But players are coming back, performances are getting worse and he's trotting out lines from the Steve Bruce book of management. Someone said on here moons ago, every manager is the same when they're losing, I hand on heart never thought that of Eddie, until today. I'm actually more upset about that than the performance and result, which was his worst as an NUFC manager.
  24. It's not me doing this, its him. He's cracking under the pressure. I fucking told you all a few weeks ago this was a test for him. I was laughed at. He's failing this test. I hate to see it. I'd rather be wrong and have my posts dragged up and called whatever. It's really sad to see, but worse is, people who can't handle calling out the obvious, and must deflect at any cost.
