Isak, Bruno & Gordon have let him down massively this season. To have all 3 misfiring at the same time is strange though, and you'd think he'd be able to sort at least one out. Joelinton doesn't look the same player pre injury, Willock and Pope the same and Barnes cannot start a game, is at best a sub against tired legs. Tonali's return has been meh whilst the RW turn outs (Murphy, Almiron & Gordon) have been dire. Throw in Trippier destroying his career and marriage for a bit of classless fanny, 2 young FB's who need protecting, whilst the slowest CB pairing in the league being the only fit options, you can comfortably say, the project is on its arse. I'm not sure how much is his fault, but he doesn't help himself at times, and eventually the manager will take the bullet for it all. That's football.

COME ON!!! One chance left to get something!

and were done

We're still getting chances, not that we deserve it.

Somehow we're still in it.

Fuck off Isak. Fuck right off to Arsenal.
-
He's been invisible this half, looks leggy (plus carded). Maybe Miley comes in, but we've no idea how fit he is.
-
Correct subs, for what we have as options.
-
Barnes is a joke.
-
pathetic. Getting tired of the same old shit game after game.

Terrible 1st half of the half, competitive 2nd half. Come out like we ended and we can get something. Reckon Chelsea have another gear though, reckon it depends on if we can keep the crowd quiet, which has been one of the worst i've not heard all season so far.

You've had your shit 30min start and got away with it, now craic on and do something. Fight for your manager, ffs.

Bloody hell. Var on our side today

Miles off

This is what happens when you abide by the rules, vs stretching it beyond the pale.

Saved by VAR here.

On the verge of an England callup (apparently) Doubt he'll make it on the pitch, but still a cracking leap forward for the lad.

A waste of good skin.

Have I just seen on FB @Paully getting his leg signed by Howe for a tattoo?

£90m a year for a decade. Should have made it £115m.

Can't even manage their league and sponsors nevermind trying to take an asset off a kingdom our own is in bed with. Good luck masters and PL. You shoot at the king, you better not miss.

New Top Gear line up looks rough.

Been nearly 11 months of inconsistent, patchy and poor performances, mixed with average results and some questionable match day tactics. A lot of excuses have been made for him and they are running out, and eventually so will his time here. It's sad, but it's a results business and a lot of money has been invested for us not to play, act or be knocking around mid table. He's probably got till Christmas until he starts feeling real pressure, by then we're talking a full year of average, which is not where we should be right now. Our best players will be away with 2 seasons of no Europe. Who do you choose? Eddie or selling Bruno, Isak and Gordon? That's what it'll come to in the summer if we don't get our shit together. Ironically if we sold all 3 this summer we'd be no worse off right now. Mind, he's been massively let down by the club 2 windows in a row. They need to make that right in jan, and the sensible thing would be to back him, but with club structure signings (signings both the manager and dof agree on with the next manager in mind if it fails) and give him the rest of the season to prove he can do it. But it's a gamble the longer it goes on, and with other teams looking like they are getting it together, I'm not sure a top 7 finish is realistic with the glaring holes in the squad and the lack of belief within the club right now. Next few weeks will be awful, with rumours galore he's done with each poor result or performance. It really will test him, the players and the fans, with the board watching it all unfold. Ps: there isn't anyone I can think of who is better than him and would come. I think we're stuck with each other unless an carlo to everton type situation comes out of nowhere for us. He might get the time to ride it out simply down to this, and I've no objections, you don't sack a manager without clear planning in place unless it's toxic, which it will never be with Howe.

Like the active clause I've got with my lass if Natalie Portman wants a bit. So stupid to let the deal go on something like that. You could say it was the unravelling of our window, trying to find a suitable replacement, moving all the funds to the position from elsewhere. If true of course.
