I said most. Rennie was the obvious exception. Even if he did give away a lot of freekicks, Shearer was a right dirty player, and got away with more than he should have, seemed to have a way of talking to refs, just like Fergie does.

Bad way of looking at things, you have to remember that speculation happens over time, and once its done very little can be said in reaction. Shearer had no speculation, so was done with very quickly.

It will be Martins out of the team to be honest. Shearer has regularly slated him on the BBC for not attacking the box, and he doesn't offer enough linkup play either. A team with Martins in the starting eleven on a regular basis will never finish in the top ten, and Shearer will realise this.
