I said on this board in the week following the game that amongst the hysteria of a 3-1 win our second half performance was absolutely shocking and if we played like that in the future we'd struggle badly. And, we weren't brilliant at any point of that game or any Premiership game since. yea i agree with that. We came flying out the blocks and bolton were terrible. They made us look good, which all credit to them, is a very difficult task!

When tv prgrammes and websites name the team and formation, are they just guessing at the formation? I noticed quite a lot on sky that when they put the formation up, they quite often get it wrong

Even though it's true, I don't see the point in lauding Smith and especially Barton for something so petty. I appreciate effort and commitment on the field, not transparent, insincere, badge-kissing sycophancy. the thing is, it annoys me when you go to an away game and you spend the whole game supporting the team and they just walk off at the end without even looking at the fans. All im asking for is a little hand clap or something, just to acknowledge that they know we exist
