Just watching the women's champions league semi-final and Arsenal have scored a pen given for the exact situation as the one Palace got! Keeper came to punch the ball, completely missed and took out the arsenal player. Play goes on and no one thinks anything of it, then VAR calls it back for a pen! Never seen it before, now 2 in a week!

Felt like I saw loads wearing that at the match on Sunday! Unless the same bloke just kept walking past me every 5 minutes

It's a strange one as they got over 30k at the weekend for a league game. I think a lot of their marketing is around families, so maybe the weeknight games are never going to get the same crowd in. Shame though, it was a great game! Chelsea play Man City in the all English quarter final tonight if anyone is interested. City lead 2-0 from the first leg, but I would say anything other than a Chelsea victory tonight would be a suprise!!

I reckon at least 30-40% of people who registered interest won't end up going now due to the parade, so hopefully there will be some way of passing tickets on, or at least returning them so others can have them.

Yea i think I lot of people would rather be part of the parade than go to the moor, so it's likely to be fewer people than they expect!

I'm pretty sure, only Arsenal have ever beaten that, maybe Tottenham the first time they played Arsenal at the new stadium. Chelsea and Man City havnt got than many before, Man U no where near!

It's such a difficult one as some people genuinely can't stand, so if people infront of them are standing, they can't see anything! My father in law almost didn't go because he was worried he would get abuse for not standing, but he's reported back that everything was fine.....and it was the best day of his life! Would be great if they could designate specific areas for 'constant seating', but that would go against the narrative that you're not really allowed to stand anyway!!

Its the planning that must go into the actual unveiling of it too! Everytime I watch it, i keep thinking it almost looks fake as it's so perfect!!, both sides go at the same pace, just unreal!!

Managers do normally get more of a chance in the women's game, but I think it's because there aren't many alternatives! At least 6 of the WSL teams have sacked their manager this season though! I don't feel like Becky has what it takes to go any further, if she's the one in charge of recruitment, as its been questionable to say the least this season! Suppose this is where we see how ruthless the Saudis are! This season has been a failure for the lasses given what theyve spent, so do they take action, or are they happy to plod along where they are!!

Bit of a grim topic, but does anyone know what happens when someone with a season ticket passes away? Can the ticket be moved to a family member? Or does it have to be given back to the club?

Does anyone know how Everton have allocated the seating for their new stadium? Have they allocated a 'singing section' or anything?

I would be very suprised of we let him go on loan. Surely Eddie wants him in and around training and the team this season. Feels like letting him go would undo any work that had been put in so far

That's a good step forward, don't think a lot more clubs have a separate DoF, so should give us a lot more focus! Hopefully someone comes in who can help us find a bit of an identity, as some of the transfers last summer were poor, and watching the game yesterday, we don't seem to be moving forward at the moment!! Live that they've made it clear the successful applicant needs to live up here too, fully embrace the club!!

Finding a good centre forward is a real struggle for teams in the WSL too. I've been playing the WSL fantasy football game this season and it's so hard because literally only players from the top 3 teams score regular points! The best players all play for those teams, and then the rest are just scrapping about trying to get players on loan from those teams!!

Losing 1-0. I know this won't go down well as there is so much sentimentality with the womens team, but they're having a shocking season given the investment! It was always going to be a tight league, but we've looked way off the pace again and again!
