  1. Just managed to nab 2 tickets together in the Leazes. Was refreshing all day yesterday but was just getting that section of seats in the Leazes that flashes when you click on then. I was surprised that you are able to downgrade a seat to a child ticket as well, I thought you would have had to pay for an adult seat if the original ticket was an adult one.
  2. I tweeted the video for this this morning after getting a strange urge to watch it when I woke up before the milkman today. Assuming that's where you decided to watch it from, or are you also a weirdo who had a strange urge to watch it randomly Pav was fucking terrible, and Wright wasn't exactly great either. Some of the defending as well
  3. Not sure about that yet. Sky haven't announced the matches they have picked, have they? Is it not just a case of the clubs not wanting to wait any longer to put the tickets on sale
  4. Michael Martin has been constantly tweeting Lee Marshall saying that there is a recording of the meeting. https://twitter.com/tfMichael1892/status/1047162992620687361
  5. Where have you read this? 1st 2 chapters are available as a free sample on iTunes Cheers. £12 on Amazon btw
  6. Where have you read this?
  7. I'm going to that as well. Slightly annoying now that I've paid £50 for a standard ticket, when I could have got VIP at the Sage including his new book for £40, but never mind. Guessing the Sage will be more focused on his book, so maybe not the same type of thing.
  8. Something to do with shirt sizes? When I was a kid my small man's one had a different layout to my dad's large. Mine are that size, that would explain
  9. My old ones the same. Are they wearing fakes?
  10. Just bought this on Ebay for £30. Was just wondering, is there any reason why there are slightly different versions of the top? There's one where the badge and Adidas sponsor, are both only on the white stripes, then there's the version like this one, where half are on the black stripe, and the other half on the white stripe.
  11. From what I've been reading from people who have watched Muto regularly, he is no number 10. They all say he's a striker who works hard and makes runs behind the defence. We only have one number 10 and that is Perez. We could really do with a good quality addition in that position. It won't happen obviously.
  12. Would that work though? Would it not just end up with arrests? There would be publicity. I think he would be most upset about the practises of Sports Direct, being constantly brought to media attention. He didn't like the documentary (was it Panorama?). The thing that has to be kept in mind is, whatever our fans do, it's not gonna stop your average mother from buying her bairn a cheap paid of football boots. No banners or protesting will make someone pay a tenner extra to go to JD. If its directed at Sports Direct, it's got to be something that goes deeper than Mike Ashley treats us like mugs.
  13. The 'wasting your time' brigade are out in force. I think people are missing the point with this. For me, at this stage it's about making Ashley realize the fire he is playing with. There needs to be a good plan put in place, but he needs to be put under serious pressure to realize that he must keep Rafa at all costs. I'm not looking any further than that at the minute. It's not a bedsheet protest hoping that he will drop his price next week and sell for £300m. I don't give two fucks if Ashley owns the club, if he just listens to Rafa and gives him the money that the club generates (at the very least). Too many people are too quick to judge. It can't be another Steve Wraith coffin type of protest. I think they have asked for donations a bit early, but they probably think it's a good idea to start off when its hot. They could have waited a month, for everyone to get some ideas together. The way things are going, and with the fixtures we have ahead of us, I don't think the anger is going to go away in the near future.
  14. I'd be amazed if we got Townsend and Kenedy. Most of us would probably be surprised with one of them. The only chance of both happening is if Ritchie left. We will potentially have the money to make this a decent summer, but it's down to Ashley allowing Rafa to spend where he wants. If there's £40m budget there now, then you add the potential sales of Mbemba, Ritchie and Mitrovic, we should be looking at over £80m. Then there's the players we won't get much for, but hopefully we can free there wages off the bill. If it's true that Townsend and Kenedy are available, you would expect them to take up half of that budget, leaving £40m for a striker(s), and a defender. Things just don't work out for us that way though. I reckon we might get Kenedy back on loan if we're lucky, and we'll fuck about trying to find a striker in a cut price deal. We'll probably end up knocking on Chelsea's door for Abraham again on loan.
  15. 2017-2018 was very popular like. Can see that being a retro job in years to come, without the sponsor in the middle. It won't be associated with a completely shit season either, it will be a reminder of Rafa and a team of players who cared.
  16. Wouldn't be surprised if Murphy and Merino start this one. Possibly Clark as well.
  17. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/black-people.1426051/
  18. Even if they won 5 out of their last 8 matches, they could still easily go down. They are completely fucked.
  19. Much better. He bloody frustrates me when he does needless fouls when trying to win the ball from a defender though. They're always so blatant, when he pushes massive centre backs over, because he doesn't have the strength. Needless.
  20. Are we happy going into next season with Clark and Lascelles as first choice centre backs, if promoted?
  21. Delph and Shelvey would be great together. Big fan of Hayden, but if we can get Delph then it is a no brainer.
  22. Fucking ridiculous. I had planned on going down for the full weekend for Brentford and stopping down my uncles. Now I'm gonna have to time of work the following week, which I wouldn't be able to cancel at the last minute if the match did move back to the Saturday, AND I can't book any travel until I know the date. Wankers.
  23. That's great to hear, we have to keep this guy fit, he's irreplaceable at the moment, although at some point Rafa will need to think about resting him. That international break should have helped him.
