Is this a worry or nothing?
Urged by who?
Tbh I missed it first time, too.
Ah hah. But it's bullshit, no? What 'injection of capital' would be provided by flogging either or both of these players considering the money is received in installments anyway?
Owen is free, he's (reportedly) only getting a pay-as-you-play deal, so the risk for Man Utd is minimal, tbh. Why not get him in, see what he has to offer? I don't think Ferguson is quite as senile as people are making out.
Finally a sane voice. The truth of the matter is, cost-cutting could only work on the premise we stayed in the Premier, in the end this was taken to such an extreme it ended up costing us far more. We do not want any more owners with this niggardly mindset otherwise we are finished.
Are we/will we be a viable borrower?
Ask Shepherd and the Hall's, they made nearly £200m.
Aye, but only by putting the club in massive debt and then flogging it to a mental. Can lightning strike twice?
That's part of Seymour Pierce's job.
What do Seymour Pearce know about how to run a football club? I'm not talking about whether they have the dough, I'm asking whether any of these potential buyers know their fucking arses from their elbows.
