"At this time, I'm unwilling to either confirm or deny rumours that I had a explosive, sock-based reaction to a recent phone-call. I will address this at a more appropriate time."
  4. They can't defend much either.. PASS Hughes > Van Gaal But NUFC-online wants a foreigner... Hughes is foreign, the Welsh twat.
  5. Yes but Rozy, Cacapa & Enrique have been a waste of time, you could include Geremi in that as well. So 2 out of 6, not great is it? No, it's not great, but he didn't make a solitary 'decent' signing in midfield or attack. What you on about? Barton's been great when attacking.

Rubbish statement. And I can't believe you forced me to go to that shithole of a site.
  7. Christ. There's a match today! My papa, the fool, reckons if Person wins it, he's nailed on for the job.
  8. It's a bit Sounessy, this, isn't it? Down to the dregs of football management because we acted without thinking. Throw some money at him hoping it'll work out. I'm a bit glum.
  9. Lazy bastard. I know. Just couldn't get up any earlier. I swear wor lass has drugged me. FWIW, I'm flabbergasted the board has acted without having a man in place ready to come in. I realise they know sod all about football management, but did they really think they could just go pick and manager up off the rack?
  10. Just got out of bed. GET IN THE FUCKING BAG! No offence, Harry.
  11. Commercial station. It's their job to wind you up. True. Shame all the Newcastle fans they let on are determined to make us sound like morons. The bloody SSN effect. i reckon there's hours of footage of sane, lucid nufc fans giving coherent sensible musings on the cutting room floor. Guaranteed.

  13. Hopefully, they'll have a good day out regardless. We'll get humped, I'm afraid.
  14. That bell-end Mike Parry's on TalkSport now slagging us off. Still, sacking your manager after five minutes in the job gives these lot a good excuse to stick the boot in, tbh.
  15. I enjoyed it, BG. It took me about half an hour to read it, mind. I don't have much in the way of attention span, like any true NUFC fan.

    £20m kitty

Ashton is excellent, tbh, but is so injury-prone that he just wouldn't be value for money unless we really got him on the cheap.
  17. OK, he's Ashley's man, but why couldn't Ashley's man have been someone... better?
  18. Glenn Hoddle anyone? Top quality coach but shouldn't be let loose with the transfer fund. His failure at Spurs was due to the DoF system in place with David Pleat being the DoF. For those wanting Jol, I can only guess they must have missed what's been going on at Spurs for the past year. The way Levy got rid of him was a shambles and a disgrace, but the need for change was undeniable. From the outside, it looked like Jol had managed the club to good finishes while hamstrung by a belligerent and interfering board who unceremoniously kicked him out for not achieving miracles.
  19. Mods, man, sort it out. It's like a raggedy, mid-table forum here instead of the top-class forum we're aspiring to be.
  20. was a good article in fourfourtwo about this a couple of months back What? They got Barton's victims together to talk about their experiences? Our third guest is Barry, again not his real name, from the West Midlands. He met Barton in a dark alley one night while walking home from his local pub. Barry: It was so sudden, I couldn't believe it. One minute I was strolling along, minding my own business then WHAM, I was on the ground. Dave: I know. It sounds the same as me. You can tell he's a trained athlete can't you? Cat-like reflexes. Even though I was drifting in and out of consciousness, I couldn't help but feel a bit of respect for his prowess. Barry: Yeah, he's a street fighter, isn't he? I'll stop now.
  21. How long do we think he'll be at Chelsea? Tbh, I think it is a good club for him.
  22. twisting things aren't you. "blew his socks off" I'm trying to work out how much more amazing it is to have your mind blown than it is to simply have your socks blown off. At least 50% more incredible, I'd have thought.
  23. didn't they have hits with "keep on loving you" and "can't fight this feeling" ? Nah, you're thinking of Man Utd defender, Rio Ferdiwagon.
