Found it interesting we "apparently" approached Joachim Lowe too and were turned down. Against the narrative of Premiership experience that seems to be key from all the noise that has been leaked out. Probably whats keeping them from Favre and Fonseca. To be fair I think howe is more likely to inspire the masses than Emery communication/charisma wise. Certainly the type of supporter that doesn't frequent message boards. Emery never seemed a good fit personality wise.

Well he is clearly interested at least, hence talking to us. This is a pretty huge opportunity, potentially. I don't see him going to any of the other "big 6" clubs, even if he continues to succeed at Villarreal. If he has ambition to succeed in the premier league there likely won't be a better opportunity than this. Can see this dragging beyond the weekend though.
