I think its a knee jerk move from the Barton injury but a good one. I think we will certainly still be going all out to get one of Veloso/Mbia/Donadel/Quashie, ok hopefully not Quashie. Could very well see us step aside from Veloso as part of the Nolan agreement. Nolan will be a solid player to add to what we have right now, he might not be a world beater but he is a better option than Ferguson or Quashie and will give us an extra option. Cant see how anyone can complain given the state we are in. In an ideal world we would be looking at players on top of their game not getting them to recapture it, but we are far from said world.
