Happy with this one, if we get him motivated he will be cracking, if not we send him back. Not really sure where he will fit in, but I think he will be happy to play anywhere to get his career back on track.

Xisco joins Deportivo on loan until the end of the season

I would say good news, but I will hold off until I hear they will make the deal permenant in the summer. Good to get him games and god giving off the wage bill. -
West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

He isn't going anywhere yet. I'd say we have a 50/50 chance of keeping him in the summer though. If we keep him and past the summer and still continue to build and progress there isnt any reason why he wont stick around for a further few years, for the numerous reasons mentioned. Then if the unthinkable has actually happened and he has continued to improve and stay fit and on form I'm sure he will look consider big clubs. (Unless the impossible has happened and we are consistent title contenders) Worst case scenario he leaves in the summer and the whole saga is dragged out until the end of the window. It will be shenanigans again come june. If we do sell him we need to do it with enough time to properly reinvest some if not all of the money into the squad. -
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/174327/Battle-is-on-for-Newcastle-s-8m-Jose-Enrique/ Think he will sign a new contract. He is worth more than 8m thats for sure. p.s. Love the fact they they quote 8m for Enrique then say Gordon is worth 15m. Mirror reckons we are going back in for Larsson, wouldnt be a suprise. He is obviously going in the summer pretty sure he will move somewhere on Monday.

Foster has looked good this season, wouldnt be suprised to see him oust Krul and maybe Harper. Be shocked if we sell him.
-
Wouldn't have minded Sessegnon here for his versatility, but I dont see why would be seething. Muntari has never lived up to potential, or maybe I should say his talent was just originally misjudged.

Well they don't have the fun of playing us every week for a start.

Female Bolton fan audibly shouting "come on Bolton, I fucking paid for this." classy.

I think we can all see how good he could be, with that pace and power. It's so frustrating. He's only 19 FFS. Which is why he would be better away from the club and frustration until he has grown a bit as a player and professional. A loan could turn out to be detrimental to him to but I think he is worse of staying here. We need a couple of players in before we let him go though.

Two dropped points closer to relegation! I dont think we will have problems with that, on the outside and coming into the game its a great result. As I said earlier, highlights the need for new players to freshen up the team, we did well for a slow side to cope with the pace of spurs. Really need a couple of quick players (not headless chickens) to give us the extra yard on the break. Like I said we do well for what we have, which is a credit to the players and staff, more committed than we have been in years. -
Legend. Nobody deserved the goal more than him. Classy play too. Know how good he was before he came to us but its still mad to think how much he has grown into the toon shirt and the premier league. Total Colossus at times.

When he is confident the ball just seems to stick to his feet. He manages to come out of tackles with the ball even when he clumsily miscontrols it. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the right again. Think Barton is better out there than the centre though.
-
Needs loaning out, end of. He offers something different to everyone else which is a plus, but he will be better of getting full games in the championship and building his game and confidence. This thread is more jeckyl and hyde than his performances. Fans will be on his back for missing easy chances but then go to the other extreme when he just puts it wide. He is like an uber shit version of young Lua Lua senior. Give him time somewhere else then bring him back.
-
Jeckyl and Hyde performance, tore Hutoon to shreds for the whole game. Control was hit and miss in the first half but he was back to debut season form in the second half. Needs his confidence back and the crowd behind him to do so imo. Can be a big player for us when he is in full swing.

Hopefully this emphasises the fact we desperately need new players. Guthrie possibly crocked again and two points dropped because our players were absolutely spent. Great game, no excuse to have drawn tbh. We should have buried at least one of the 7 chances we had in the second half. -

Beardo and Asprilla swapping burnt dvds. "Dont give me this shit in front of my wife Tino!" Scouting? -
This. Plus Andy Carroll, Joey Barton... Hands down tbh Nolan would be the imovable object everyone teams up to eliminate. Xisco would be the guy that slides under the bottom rope at the beggining then hides under the ring until almost everyone is eliminated. Ranger would come in bushwacker style take forever, throw a punch, miss and eliminate himself. I know this probably should have gone in the other thread, but when in the transfer rumours thread...

Xisco is excited at the thought of the teams new strip being made out of spandex.

Not just Twitter all the reliable rags have it.. Nice pic in the article aswell. http://blogs.loughboroughecho.net/goaltastic/2011/01/new-owner-to-wrestle-control-o.html No chance ... that's what you've got. Maybe he can mark his arrival by having Ashley Blown up in a limo and rigging falling on Lambias during a press conference.
