I'm still yet to be convinced that PIF are as all in as is presumed in a lot of places. These missed open goals do nothing to argue against that case. The same can be said for the lack of movement on at least a new training facility. A common rebuttal is "Why undervalue if we qualify incase we qualify for the Champions League?". That's why you load it with performance-related clauses in. On the training facility, "You can't expect a training ground to be built within the first year!". Well how about actually putting something out saying they have £80m earmarked for a training facility and they're looking at sites in the initial period of ownership? I appreciate that a stadium is a far bigger, more sensitive proposition. Instead, the existing training ground which is largely shite has been given a lick of paint. None of the current infrastructure developments look to have been outside of the clubs current cashflow.
