The tickets I get are NFC (iOS). But the last I understand Android use barcodes. This would be uniformed with a definitive app, however. I’d imagine you’d need to fall back to barcodes on all to include phones that don’t have NFC technology. Again, all obstacles that can be overcome. The only downloading once thing is a good idea in principle as our current setup is a tout’s dream in so much as you could forward the same email with the web link on to 100 people but again it does have its pitfalls. Maybe you have to log into a portal before you can access the ticket API to download it? These things can all be navigated but you do have to allow for multiple scenarios. Create a "Ticket" app. Tickets live in there instead of your wallet. NFC code refreshes periodically (for example every 15 minutes) You have to be logged into the account of the ticket holder (once you log in on one device, all other devices are logged out) Sorted.
