If you're going to replace Joelinton one day, you'd probably do that with Connor Gallagher - press resistant, physical machine. Then when you eventually need to replace Bruno, you go for a more finesse creator profile?

Rafa's final season, the style was starting to come together with that strong 3-man CB trio of Lejeune, Schar and Lascelles. Wing-backs providing defensive cover, width etc. 2 CMs who were box to box. And a dynamic front 3 where we had Rondon as the focal point, Ayoze as a wide forward and the LW was a hybrid 10/winger. It was looking exciting with Almiron as that LW too.

Really does make the case for Mbuemo a lot better, then doesn't it? A high-grade RW who can play striker. You need to rest Isak? Mbeumo or Gordon go in the middle and Barnes comes on. Barnes not available? Ok lets throw on Osula and let Gordon and Mbuemo play the wing with him, etc. I'd be totally fine with us moving on from Wilson, signing DCL as a primary backup on a free as well. Osula either staying with us or going out on loan.

No way, I love Keegan but was never able to see any press about him, sky interviews etc over here in Florida in the early to mid 90s. So its far different to have that connection. When SBR was our manager, we had quite a bit of coverage and I was able to follow us better with the internet and official site.
