Need to pick up a head of steam these final 8 before the World Cup break

Off the balance of what I’ve seen of us at Full strength, I fancy us to pick up points where we’d normally get 0 or 1 this season. Not to mention we’re 8 matches from the window.

He doesn’t shoot or pass with nearly any intention or composure. It’s all hope and hit or he’s taking ages to find a pass. First match of season he looked way more like his old self but hasn’t looked that way since. When he is getting a chance in the box he’s snatching at them and sky’ng over.

Lot of the football tactical analysis sources out there seem to think he could thrive in a secondary striker role where his starting position is wide by he’s able to drift and find space deeper to get the ball and run at defenses.

particularly the time of his career when he was mopping it up at Nice too. He was destroying teams.

Posted this in the other thread but despite the injuries we’ve sustained to Shelvey, Maxi, Wilson and Bruno - VAR and extra time fucking us off points where we should be between 4th and 7th. We’ll get it right.

Small margins and injuries seem to always be the underlying story for us but have to take 2-3 steps back and say we’re a VAR or two, stoppage time madness, and post hit x2 from being undefeated and top 5 - dominant, threatening in nearly all matches but 1.

Anderson/Maxi - Wilson - Isak

Need a first choice winger who can play right side in Jan.

I’m less on about Howe and more on about the players who aren’t doing the business on the pitch.
