Ameobi > Riviere Let that sink in.

What I hate about this - is that, if you asked a Chairman/Owner of say.....some bog standard Championship Club and said - hey, if Frank De Boer was interested in the job at your club, and you had the money to pay him a salary, would you do it? 99.9% of them would say Yes, instantly. At Newcastle United, we have seemingly Frank De Boer, Laudrup, Garde, etc. INTERESTED in this job, but our Chairman and Owner think that hiring a status quo manager makes fucking sense. Ridiculous.
-
It makes no sense nor change anything.

Puma made shit kits then too
-
No the only disillusioned one on here is Dropout
-
Short Canadian Kernt
-
he's the fucking man - we have a cartoon mr. and mrs. magpie for fuck sake
-
completely flipped, want Vieira now
-
Rene Girard too by the way
-
I'd much rather take a punt on a championship manager who has potential to be great (see: Howe) versus an older head in McClaren who, while still a great and highly rated coach, hasn't really won or challenged anything of great importance in recent years.
-
I'd love a De Boer, Garde, Girard, Galtier or someone of that type of course but would happily take Viera. Talk about a leader of men, our lack of leadership issue will never ever happen again if he was our boss.

With right management that midfield should be more than fine. Still wishing Abeid has a future here. Pair Sissoko with Abeid, Anita, or Colback (as last resort) De Jong in that one match he played in was supremely quick on the ball. Touch and pass give and go pass and move etc. exactly what you need from a higher up pitch attacking midfielder with an eye for goals. Cabella can play that role too just not sure of him out wide right now but with new manager clean slate I'd like to see pace of Aarons x 2 in signings and grab 2 wingers who are tricky and can get around quickly. Love Perez and would love a striker like Ings or someone who's got an all around ability. Defensively I'd be OK with Janmaat and Haidara as our backs with 2 New Cbs starting and having PD compete for a job in the middle to start. I'd honestly flog Krul. Shame about these shitty loans we did for Davide and Mapou. Hope Marv has a chance to come back.

An attacking group of say Perez, Aarons, Cabella and a healthy De Jong seems cool to me. I'd like to see another crop of wingers with pace be added. Need a new more mobile and fluid main striker too IMO
-
Need more left backs. Need more shitty defensive midfielders.
-
Need 2 new CBs, a few strikers, a CM and a few wingers. A backup RB would do as well.
-
I think Viera is pretty relevant to up and coming players too now. They all idolize a player of his abilities and stature.
-
There are termination rights to contracts. You could easily have it written that although rent is X or advertising is X to terminate early it's X times fucking anything.
-
I'd take Viera over McClaren for no reason but I loved Viera the player and the unknown that he is in terms of abilities as a manager.
-
Shocking to me how there are so many people in football who lack that bit of self respect. All too happy to eat up a pay check and remain relevant all while touting their supposed love of a club or football or whatever. Disgusting.

Legend. Will always respect this man for on field and off field. No way he makes that no way. Nah.
-
Cheers Raylor - some good goals that 5th season when he was in the form of his life. :thus: best of luck to him.

Naw no credit for that ass clown

All we need is Mike Ashley involved in this

Why the fuck is he going to West Ham? Why the fuck is that so depressing that West fucking Ham have enough in them to go after Bielsa
