  1. Love that flat 4 midfield and 2 flat strikers.
  2. He scuffed the few shots he took
  3. I know the signings I'm on about are likely not to happen this window which is a shame bc I do think again this is a kick-on opportunity with new manager, new players, and ability to harness some positivity and optimism. We also have enough money to sign nearly anyone we've been linked with. It's frustrating.
  4. Ah right, scuffed a few shots. I'm sure his goals last season were a bunch of U7 school boy taps too.
  5. Still think we need a "star" creative player, LB, CB, and backup RB.
  6. Luuk was told to play the support striker role that Siem plays, man. Of course he was terribly managed and coached in that shit team of ours with the idiots in charge.

    Remy Cabella

Our LW should be (1) Aarons (2) Marveaux (3) Cabella IMO with form/injuries/opposition being the driver on who plays there. I also think the #10 is quite tasty in (1) Ayoze (2) De Jong (3) Cabella (4) Marveaux (5) Wijnaldum all capable of playing there. I really want to see both Cabella and Marveaux in this team as they actually have the killer pass (and I've seen Marveaux with it more-so) and the creativity.
  8. Pellegrini and the older chaps look like proper footballers. Fucking Rodgers man.
  9. I don't disagree. But he needs to be surrounded by pace for one, and we need to be playing much further up the pitch. We of course saw him on when we didn't look like we were going to attack anymore. Anita, Gini, Aarons/Perez, Sissoko and you've got the right surrounding players for Siem IMO.
  10. FWIW If we persist with 1 sitting/holder in Anita playing as a deep playmaker, I'd like to see Gini given freedom to roam about with Ayoze/De Jong/Cabella playing as a #10 and Sissoko (for the time being) wide right with Aarons wide left. I think that grouping variation will give us the best of all worlds in certain situations.
  11. You solve the goal scoring "issue" if you play Ayoze behind the central striker by the way, a highly technical player who can dribble, pass, and has excellent box instincts and movement.
  12. He's actually a supremely intelligent footballer with great movement and ability to finish either foot (tap-ins or volleys) and use his head. He's literally just been out of playing for so long and needs to regain that sharpness. He plays the ball very quickly (usually first time or quick control and pass). I want him to do well here and think he can, but as of right now - I'd push Gini back and get Ayoze as the #10.
  13. Petition to change Crumpy's name to Weirdo
  14. Lee, if you're reading this like the creepy bald cunt that you are, don't show up to Orlando.
  15. Um. Wat. Dutch full back > Not even close to national team French full back.
  16. Fox's studio shows were fucking terrible man. I appreciate Fox was the first to really bring the sport over here after ESPN/ESPN2 used to do it wayyyyy back in the day in the mid 90's...but their studio shows have always been crap. The only time I had for Fox recently was when Warren Barton was on there and he'd be bigging up Newcastle and/or hating on Ashley and co. Fox also had some 2nd rate shit studio they used as well. It's still bad today with their Cup coverages etc. NBC do it right, besides the Arlo "NBC" broadcast, they use the general worldwide feed and don't do anything over that. I'll take it.
  17. NBC is awesome. They've given us every bit of ability to see any game in the PL via the web through their site, their app on android, windows, iOS, and their TV coverage via NBC, NBCSN, Extratime or other NBC affiliated networks. We're lucky as fuck to have it.
  18. If this happened, man....shiietttt. I'm on some useless Debuchy levels right now in terms of wanting a f***ing fullback to join us buy all de Dutchies. My FIFA team is going to be ace if this doesn't happen anyway, will sign Jetro, Narsingh and Abdennour and send Ikon some PMs of my lineup
  19. Polic going for the Neesy style juggler there.

    Steve McClaren

Genuinely would love to hear the "con" to a manager working from the stands. And why it irks so much versus being on the touchline.
  21. Dude's a proper footballer man, he's got it all IMO in terms of mentality through his workrate, determination, and drive. That run man while others gave up on Obertan's chase, Gini went on a 90 yard, fucking sprint.
